  1. There is a different part number for it...I have it in my GL-10...it wont hold up to a properly tuned 14PSI EA82T tho...still slips. It is a little bit stronger...the pedal is not noticeably heavier tho.
  2. The lines I am selling...looks like with a slight modification to the banjo bolt and they will work for the rear. They will have to be routed differently...but nothing a zip tie could not fix to keep it stable. I test fit this to to a junked rear suspension i have...jsut a matter of mod'in the banjo bolt and applying it on the RX...!!!
  3. Those are all KYB units on the RXs. REAR: 4D RX Turbo 7/86- 1985-87 21022GA752 3D RX TURBO 1986-90 7/86- 21007GA771 I know for sure the dampening rates are different.
  4. You just need to send him the EXACT dimension and he will get some made up for you. Need to email/PM him first...make sure he can do this.
  5. That makes me wonder is the block was not true...the rings should be fine. Head were true, correct? with the ignition timing...my 9.5:1 turbo engine knocked, pinged, pre detonated every day of its life. It lasted 24k miles on OE head gaskets. The rings and an exhaust valve let go before the HGs. The heads were known true, and the block was pulled out of a wrecked car, about 80k miles on it and was a well maintaned block...so it was true.
  6. Cool. Thanks. Guess where my next $400 is going...!
  7. whats the web address i can find this at? I need one. NOW.
  8. PUGS! I remembered when iwas working at some scam of a company in charlotte I seen atleast 4~5 Pugs crusing around with the 4x140mm 15 inch alloys I wanted, in ONE day!....outside of the center of charlotte...I see....maybe ONE pug a year.
  9. The dizzy cannot retard. Only advance (vac for carbed/85-86MPFI/TURBO). The 87+ dont even advance.
  10. Im talking about the copper contacts inside the starter...ive had some act funny with carbon build up. I may take you up on those female connectors...lol I am 30 miles NE of charlotte...not too far from I-85.
  11. Actually I am in Mt Pleasant (8 miles from concord)...its 30 miles north east of charlotte.
  12. redkard4: where abouts in NC do you live? Im near concord.
  13. 11044AA013 SUBARU OE TURBO Head Gasket. This one is theTURBO HG...and is now used on ALL EA82 CARB/SPFI/MPFI as well. It works. I know this. Used it in my 9.5:1 turbo engine...the rings and exhaust valve failed before the headgasket. Happy head gasketing!
  14. the vac is advance only. None of the dizzys can retard either electronically or mechanically. Both units dump fuel. 87+ is better at detecting it than 85-86.
  15. Oh, and the MAF is better than the flapper. HIgher air flow thru it...plus you dont have the spring loaded device to calibrate every so often cut you make changes to boost leves, intercoolers and so on and so forth...
  16. The advantage of the pre 87 is the fact ath you can disable the over boost fuel cut. 87+ its built into the MAF/ECU...and it will cut when 9 PSI or more is held for 10 seconds or so. BUT...the 87+ has a better knock sensing system, better dizzy, and better ECU to handle the detonation issues when it arises...I have NEVER heard knock on an 87+....but even on STOCK pre 87s i hear it for a split second when turbo spools...then I see a slight fuel cloud. Timing retard/IC/better fuel cures that...but timing tuning is evAr so critical on the pre 87's its not fun at all. 87+...its still critical...but not quite as much...as the reaction and control of the knock is much much better. I am going to install my GReddy EBC...and play with the fuel cut a little...at 10 psi only tho. Tune on some timing...and see how the engine does.
  17. Then I cant help... :-\ The ones ive done have been stock exh's for the car...or custom fab'ed up jobs...never tried to take an EJxx exh and put it under an EAxx...
  18. I thought it retarded it as well...but then i played with it some, purposely running too much timing...and I watched as unburned fuel exited the exhaust system and my fuel mileage went to 16 MPGs...then i tuned the timing back to where it was suppoed to be...and I was getting 23 or so...and no more fuel clouds! Does the same on 85-86 as 87+...note: MPFI/TURBO only tho...as SPFI/CARB doesnt have a knock control system.
