  1. ah. Im still making more power with no NOS tho. :-p
  2. Roger at Brake and Clutch of Asheville. 1-828-252-6470. As for the "Loyale 4WD Stage 2" its a complete kit for $165. I dont know if he will ship tho. :-\ Its good for 230+hp and WILL hold 300 ft-lbs of TQ. I have this on my RX. Its a great clutch. Very streetable.
  3. damn...thats pretty cheap. Is it avalible for AWD for the same rate?
  4. Well, motul 5w30 8100 Full synthetic is in it now....tire presures bumped up and even all around...and I corrected a slight camber issue. Its ready to rock and roll.
  5. Here at Prestige...they like to do it at 15k....as its a pretty mountianous region. MOST of the time....its done at 30k intervals.
  6. like stock. The upper hose will need to be shorten'd ever so slightly as compared to stock.
  7. Actually, now that i realise this, the ATF is changed every 15k miles, and the filter every 30k. tisk tisk tisk.
  8. While I agree with your statement....it really depends on where you research it. For example.... If you hop on here and ask about the turbo EA82 cars...you will find that alot are still running and they have minor issues here and there...and sometimes you will find someone asking about blown head gaskets.... If you go come around here to Asheville NC and ask about the EA82 turbo cars...you will hear nothing but "Stay away form them! they blow head gaskets left and right!" Get what I mean? I used to work at a 98% SUBARU only dealership in Asheville NC...60% of the cars on the road up here are SUBARUs. While we do stock reman automatic transmissions, very rarely do we sell them. On average, 30~50 SUBARUs come thru there daily.
  9. if you ask for the MT RX application, they wont list it. You have to ask for an auto turbo GL-10 or RX one from 1989.
  10. In reality, those failures are not common. It is rather uncommon to see any sort of SUBARU AT failure. For example: There are NONE of the VDC tranmission in the country...why? 1% failure rate. Yesterday was the FIRST one that we have ever seen fail. I have owned MANY MANY old and new AT SUBARUs, and I have had ZERO problems. However, there are thigns such as Murphy's Law, $hit happens, and there is alway the chance that something coudl the ever so slightly flawed. My suggestion is to change the ATF, and add in this: Mopar LSD Additive Friction modifier, you can get it at any Dodge dealership, add in 2 bottles of it. Every once in a while we get a tranny that is slipping just a tad...we add this which runs about $6, and its gone for another 50k miles or more. I woudl HIGHLY recommend using this, along with SUBARU OE ATF. Ive got a 1996 Outback with 192k miles, AT. Ive abused it to the max. Slip? no. Odd things? no. Just forward motion.
  11. Ricer. Where's my parts? I hope you did not ship them yet....they need to go to a different address.
  12. Its about 30k old. Im sure it needs it....$ is a problem to replace it however. :-\
  13. the latest from them is $129 and free shipping.
  14. lets all tell our freind subyrally where to get a 2 row radiator....he seems to lack the search skillz.
  15. Nice. SS, what happened to the Wagon project?
  16. I noticed this one stock engines...they do that on the older ones. the new ones dont do that. Sign of PCV valve going out maybe? I dont know....it was normal on my GL-10 for a long time. Hoever...normal engine vac should be between 20 and 25 inches of Mercury...in-hg.
  17. Should...if I order it specifically for whatever is pictured there. :-p
