  1. reminds me of when i got tyres on my jeep. they had to wash the mud out of the rim to get them to balance
  2. if i remember right dwell meter is bascially an ohm meter? because points are basically open or closed. (forgive me this is so obsolete it hurts) so that wont help. you could use a voltage meter in a multimeter and back-probe the injector wires, i stated it the way i did becasue i didnt know if you had one. id still check the computer for errors, something simple can cause it to not to open the injectors. if theres a loose ground to it or somewhere that wont help any either.
  3. id get a 2.25" 2 way cat to replace the stock 2. 2.25" exhaust from the cat to the tailpipe with the muffler of your choice (but most muffles dont fit unless they are very short in the oem spot). that would be a lot more efficient that the stock exhast that necks down to 1.5" in some areas.
  4. sounds logical but the compressor is turning off. (easy to tell by the engine performance) the air comes out the same temp as the outside air, so its not going through the heater.
  5. worth doing in just any car. its kinda simple i cant see how one brand can be better than another.
  6. thats what mine does. but only on the highway. around town its fine. its got a good charge too
  7. can you pull them out and leave them connected to the fuel lines?
  8. 40 is good. check the injector to see if its spraying, have you checked the computer to make sure it shows no errors? im sure a problem like crank angle sensor or something will cause no start
  9. ive got kumhos on my jeep and I like them better than the goodyears i bought for my subaru.
  10. holy crap those are some narrow wheels and tyres what size are you running. you should get in the group wheel buy!
  11. whats special about a raised roof? is there something special inside that makes it more luxurious? overhead storage? whats the benefit?
  12. sounds perhaps like a head gasket, not a big deal.
  13. usually a decent vacuum pump can boil off any moisture in the system.
  14. perhaps you can take some slack out of the linkage by adjusting the cable?
  15. i dunno ive driven both in high altitudes and can say that the turbochargers were definatly working harder, but the engines was about normal, and the non turbo engines are wheezing. Semis dont seem to have too mutch trouble at high alt...I know they pass me up hills when im towing
  16. interesting, but grease doesnt really have a strong scent, and you should be able to smell the grease in the broken CV joint following the same logic
