  1. Cool! And for anyone doing this on an Impreza, the parts run a similiar price...$192.63 for two rotors and pads. Just a little added info incase someone is curious. Kevin
  2. I would find a vendor that sells wagon specific springs. Infact, go to your Subaru dealer and get SPT springs or get some Prodrive Wagon Springs from one of the many online dealers. Kevin
  3. Click on this and be happy for now:D Ive been up for 24 hours and need sleep...The Subaru Electra STi in both Legacy and Impreza versions: Here it is featured on the Subaru of Japan website and more.... http://www.turboclub.com/makes/sub/WRX/subaru_wrx_sti_electra_one.htm http://www.subaru.xcom.pl/index.php?art=electra Subaru of Japan website
  4. still looking...heres something to hold you over... another production Impreza named the Casa Blanca...shudder
  5. let me see what I can dig up...Ive actually seen pictures of this before out of the prototype stages. Hold on...:-)
  6. Turbo Baja.... Yep, they're starting to pop up across New England They have the auto-stick thing like Tiptronic on the automatic models. Very cool stuff.
  7. Yeah, especially since the XT's have 240hp compared to 227 on the WRX. That guy with the 12 second Caravan even has a XT now and he is doing pretty damn good time wise...I think he was in the mid to low 13's stock last time I checked.
  8. An Outback will never be at the same level of performance (engine and handling) that a Forester will be at. Theyre two totally different cars aimed at two different niches, which is what was already stated. The Forester is better equiped and much better looking IMO, but just as a side note, my famliles 03 OB has side airbags, and its not a special trim level. Kevin
  9. Towed my friends 2.5RS with my Impreza out of a snowbank after it got high centered...it was in deep, really deep
  10. Probably an adult L or M, let me know how the shirts run. Shoot me an email or PM when youre ready to do this so I can send funds. Kevin kjyoun01@syr.edu
  11. Check out Cobb Tuning Stuff on the site is for 2.5 engines mostly, but it will either work in the 2.2 or they have stuff that will.
  12. ah shucks, I didnt win but I know I was one of the 12 who got it right. Oh well, I just entered this month and got it right again...we'll see! What exactley is the prize... drivers card or whatever it is?!? Kevin
  13. Read your owners manual. It states that only a certain kind of CABLE can be used, and at that, only on the front wheels. You also shouldn't drive over what, 20mph with them?
  14. sounds like one of the 4 pads up front went funky somehow. Check the caliper to make sure the piston is moving freely, and that all of the shims are where they are supposed to be...especially the metal clips. Yeah, they will have to replace everything. Since they already turned the rotors once, you shouldnt do it again. Just replace the pads and rotors...very easy job to do yourself Good luck! Kevin
  15. Yep, really common problem. I think I put 14.6 gallons in one night (some insanely close number to 15) and the light still wasn't coming on....I think its broken:D
  16. I was hoping that someone who has done this would respond first, but no one did, so heres my shot at it: Yes, although I have not done it, the dealer is correct. There is no gasket, just the liquid one you have to apply.
  17. so basically its an Adult Small....nuts. IF I got it, I would wear it.
  18. Does anyone have an Impreza LX sedan of roughly 1995 vintage that has a fold down rear seat? If yes, is it tan fabric or gray fabric? Any pictures? This is the ONLY Impreza model offered with this option. If this is something you actually have laying around collecting dust for some reason, how much $$ would it take to get it out of your garage and into mine? THanks, Kevin
  19. ok, as described to me by another member. THis should get you in the ballpark! "state Rt. 7 (aka state Rt 9 in VT) in Hoosick Falls, NY (2 miles before the VT border), 25 miles east of Troy, NY." Happy Hunting
  20. YEah, just like the_Bard said theres one just before Hudson Falls (Right side of road when youre headed towards Bennington. There is a pulloff right at the enterance that has about 10 wrecks in it beside the road at a time). I had the name and everything..hold on, I believe I posted all of the contact info over on nasioc.com about 1.5 years ago....let me go and try to find it! THere is also a fairly large one in Vergennes that I ordered lots of stuff from a while ago, but I have since forgotten the name. Sorry, but at least it gives you an approximate area to search :-)
  21. Thanks Glenn :-) 15" steelies with hubcaps are what I had before. I think Im going to try and hunt down some WRX take off rims (16") in the spring. -Kevin
  22. Thanks :-) It's just a standard 15" Subaru rim once you look past the Forester as a "SUV".....6.5" wide I think with the same bolt pattern just like all of the rest of the bunch. The tire is a 185-65-15. Kevin
  23. 98 Forester Rims with my snow tires mounted up. Just thought I would share...bling bling:drunk:
