hey shane, Small Car Perfromance in WA charges $4,000 (incl the tranny) to do the 5spd swap in a svx. and thats a price from a shop that specializes in it....hmmm

i was running a 205 40 17 on a 48mm offset rim, no problems

yea someone did it...id firure it be a little bit eaiser meesing with the fuel since it only comes from one "burst".... so did you use turbo heads,? tap your own coolant lines for the turbo???? are you using the stock pistons or turbo ones?

on top of the spoiler by the galss there is a circle cap on each side, remove cap and bolt..open up the hatch and remove the plastic cover. there will be a total of 4 nuts you have to remove, 2 for the center pillar, 1 on each side pillar..if i remeber correctly you mave have to remove the 3rd brake light to get to the to center bolts. SS

so what else does you set-up include? intake , exhaust, etc....

nope. they were never made...any ej 5spd tranny will bolt up to the engine

well after after 5 months:rolleyes: i got off my @ss to finish this up. i allready did a 2 sesions of filling and sanding and i still have alot left to do.. so anyway i gave the center section a quick spray with paint so i could get a better feel for what it will look like. here ya go

well im 99% sure it is not the door chime as you can hear the "ding" coming from under the drivers side of the dash

so this is the first time i have come across this..and i have taken out stereos in alot of ea82's so the stock deck in my 87 coupe has the "dummy panel" on the right where the trip computer would go. however when I removed the trim plate i found a black plastic box about the size of a pack of cigs next to the deck. it had a harness plugged into it. the only thing i noticed when i unpluged it, is that my door chime stopped (i had the keys in and the door open). so what is it, and what is it's purpose?
