  1. pics sent. i dont care if my license plate shows.
  2. Beefaru, Zyewdall and me+joy this time...still lotsa fun IMO.
  3. Im not sure what the rest of its for but the rings are for a 360.
  4. I am winning an auction that is a lot of 21 parts. Included in the auction is a set of piston rings for what I assumed was 1400-1600 but after calling a dealership with a 360 parts manual I found out they are actually for the 360 instead. Price on just the piston rings from the dealer is $56. Only 2 sets POSSIBLY available in the USA...so grab em while you can. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=020&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBI%3AIT&viewitem=&item=300073471665&rd=1,1
  5. Or, increase idle manually by 150 RPM in the summer and unplug the wire at the AC compressor in the winter so that you don't have the load of the AC compressor pulling down on the engine when you want defrost....which works with just heat alone just not quite as effectively.
  6. Thats called hubcentric mounting and Subaru cars do not fully feature it. Theres a small lip on the hubs of Subarus but nothing like other makes. VW's, Audis, porsches and some other cars do though. It places some of the weight and pressure off the studs or bolts themselves and onto the center of the rim instead.

  8. Stall in a small pond sized puddle then owner used the starter to get out. (WCSS3)
  9. If you work at the yard or even are AT the yard you just gotta buy it from the Previous owner before the yard does.
  10. Tap/pound the old one out with a socket. A 17-19MM impact socket is about right IIRC.
  11. I put mine in my glovebox. I had to cut the inside liner out and made it mount nice and snug. If you ever sell the car you can get a new liner at the junkyard for a couple bucks and swap it in with 4 screws. Then its lockable, hidden and pretty easy to return to stock along with easy to run the wires to the headunit.
  12. Define driveline... Engine/trans/brakes/axles/ whole shebang?
  13. You can definately tip the block halves and get them apart. It ain't fun but its possible. Must be on a bench where you can get good eye on it, leverage on the halves to pull them upward/downward from each other and once you have 2 its alot easier to get the 3rd/4th.
  14. The one with 4...3 go inside the block and the one is for the oil pump like you are guessing.
  15. Yes. The PFR# is a Denso plug and is OEM. Excellent tip going thru the fenders.
  16. Go to the junkyard and get another couple of EGR pipes. On One Chop the pipe so the threaded end can fall off. Put grooves into the threads to create a tap. Place your 17MM socket onto the EGR threaded end and run it into the hole and out a couple times to clean the threads. Install the 2nd pipe you got at the junkyard onto the engine. A little PTFE teflon in a tube (plumbing section of hardware/home improvement store) will help keep it from leaking.
  17. Whats the concensus on the rubber lines. Are the return and vent reinforced like the feed...do you have to replace all 3 systems worth of rubber lines or just the 1?
  18. So what are they? The next person to need this information will have it if you follow back up with your original posts.
