Just be sure to keep the oil full In the mean time maybe someone could do a compression test and leak down test for you? Might give you some insight before you even buy any parts. Good luck.

The calipers should be salvagable; rotors you might need to buy. I got mine off the champiegn colored GL10 turbo wagon there; pretty rusty but cleaned up nice and had 'new' pads Gotta haggle those guys. They try to stick you with high prices but you just counter offer. Then the games begin! Just ask Arch... I watched him talk them down from $200 for a part to I think $25. They seriously said $200 for an intake manifold off an MPFI EA82... we both laughed out loud!

I didnt say it was completly pointless. I said it works fine with out it on my SPFI. Do I get worse milage? Yes. Does it still run fine? Yes. Do I care? No. I lost more than 5MPG with big tires; I don't drive my Subaru because it gets awsome milage.

No, he's not actually. When you dig down through that snow what's at the bottom? Ice 90% of the time..... big lugs dont move you on ice, lots of sipes do. All the ppl I know up here that run MTs year round have siped the crap out of them to make them more safe.

Sounds good; I'll slap it together with no grease then. Got the other knuckle stripped down and repacked with new bearings Now I just need to remove and strip down the other knuckle, swap over the caliper and hub, then bolt it all back together. Still debating on doing bearings on the other side now since the one side has new ones.... :-\
