PM Richierich. He has a shop in Portland and can fix it for you at a decent price. He a great mechanic, honest as the day is long, and fair. He might even be able to point you to a potential buyer.

Richie, that's the route I'm looking at going - converting to a 5spd d/r tranny and an lsd. Since I'm not sure where the problem is, I am probably money ahead to just swap out the entire driveline and throw in a lsd while I'm at it. If you should run across an lsd that can be converted, or one of those elusive 3.9's, snag it for me. I'm good for the cash at any time. Parts aren't always easy to come by here, but I can probably find a tranny and driveshaft locally.

That's an interesting concept. I'd like to see some dyno results on it.

I had a similar problem a bit back. I had some debris in one of the jets that controls the idle speed. Take it apart and clean it thoroughly, if you feel comfortable with carbs.

You are living/ going to be visiting Romania and want someone to send you parts there...? 3. I've been to the one in Soldotna, and they are good. Best place in the state for an oil change (oil and filter installed = $10). But the best shop I've foud is Dave Miller's Subaru in Eagle River. When I have a problem I can't figure out, I see him. He is the dude.
