  3. If i send you the VIN for like.. 3 of the other STi's around here... can I get keys for them too I'll try to save up some $$ for this and paypal it to ya. I was just thinking the other day how I dont have a spare RX key, so I could use a new key. I think i'll have you send it to my parents though... wouldnt want you to have a key to my RX AND my Address -Brian
  4. I'd like it etched, and a pint would be fine by me. Any idea what logo your going to use? I would suggest trying to get a few extra's, Im sure they'd sell out at the show. -Brian
  5. *wave goodbye* Make sure you ship my shift knob before you disapear. And if you do goto the dark side, i want your DP and turbo. -Brian
  6. Get in line Dave Jibs already has me booked to do some rear disc brake stuff to his brat. I should be able to find time to help you both out soon... hopefully. -Brian
  7. OH!! Somepeople call the steering knuckle a hub, thats why i thought... The hub that holds your lugs, yeh thats simple. Goto the junkyard and pull a couple, you want to make sure there is no slop in the ones you pull, and that they seat properly. Have you taken your hub apart to make sure theres nothing caught up in there? Maybe some mud from WCSS I believe there are 4 bolts that hold the hub to the rotor, and they are all 12mm. You will need to remove the 36mm castle nut as well. -Brian

I read up on CB's and how they work, and how to tune them to your antenna. But alot of it I couldnt understand, and when I got my CB it seemed to work perfectly on the trail I got my CB for $30 from wal-mart and spent about $60 for the whip and base with the cable. Here it is installed: -Brian
  9. Dave, used knuckles should do the trick. There's nothing special required other than a 36mm socket for the CV Castle nut, and a Prybar or pickle fork for the ball joints. I would recommend replacing the bearings and ball joints with new ones and do both sides. It wont be difficult, but it will be messy -Brian
  10. My WCSS6 mug isnt being drank out of, it's more of a display and now its full of nickles, dimes and quarters. -Brian
  11. i'll definatly be in for a mug this year. I say we switch it up a bit and use a different style mug -Brian
  12. How about a photo forum? That way we can keep up with peoples photo taking I like photos. -Brian
  13. I sold my SS to buy my RX. I love my RX 1000x more than i ever did my SS. My SS wasnt without problems, but the RX is alot lighter and more agile. I do not get as much understeer as I did in the SS but of course, my RX has better tires and alot less body wieght. The SS would smoke the RX anyday of the week however, the EA82T is nothing compared to a turbocharged EJ22. If you have a family to tote around, get a SS. If you want to have some fun in a 20yr old car... get a RX -Brian
  14. Lug nuts are necessary. Do not even attempt to use subaru lugs on the rims, you risk the chance of the rims comming off your car. The only DEFINATE answer you'll get is "try for yourself". They shouldnt rub on your car, but only 100% surefire way to know is to mount them up yourself. -Brian
  15. Yup, you can find 14" and 15" alloys in 4x140 from Peugeot only. They also have 14" and 15" steels. -Brian
  16. I was going to do this when i had my 92 SS, but never got around to it. Some told me it was a direct bolt on. -Brian
  17. Turbo TImer...? Uhm, usually when I park... i sit for a few seconds. Then remove the face plate from my stereo. Set the parking brake & by the time Im done with all that I hope my turbo has spooled down then I shut the engine off -Brian
  18. Yup, the spare is in the back now -Brian
  19. Now i understand, yeah... thats something I was planning to do. I need to find a better way to secure the BPV intake, behind the MAF. -Brian
  20. I mounted it there cause thats where the pipe put it. If my bends were a little tighter and the pipe out of my turbo was alittle tighter, I could probably move the IC up a couple inches. But it went there upon install, and I set the mounts back there as well. it has plenty of space under the IC: Im thinking of installing a fan under the IC to suck air in. We'll see after I install the scoop and see where the air flows. On the BPV, i need to do more work on that. Do you mean put the valve closer to the intake pipe? or move it alltogether? -Brian
  21. Scoop is in the mail. The scoop is large enough to cool the intercooler and i may install a chiminee from a Legacy Turbo to direct cold air over the turbo. -Brian
  22. The new gauge rocks. The needle doesnt vibrate on boost and I can clearly read what PSI im running at. Looks like it peaks at 7psi, but we'll see what we can do about that -Brian
  23. Another day off, another day to work on the car. I got a few things in the mail and. One thing was a new boost guage. The old one was starting to freak out, and I couldnt trust it anymore. The new one is backlit, which is alot better than what I had before. I also stopped and got some paint and sand paper. I chose Dark ford blue engine enamel. It sais its rated to 550 degree's so I figure it should be good enough for my intake pipe: I even used it to paint the silicone elbow comming from my turbo. It worked out okay, but its already comming off. I'll just have to replace it. Here are some pix of the pipe hanging from fishing line... Stay tuned cause there's another day off tomorrow -Brian
