Sorry, I should update my signature. Its a AWD L wagon. I will be hitting the junkyard this weekend... Im making a list Thanks for this. Will the rear disc size be the same across all these model years as well? I ordered a full set of front & rear rotors off ebay for the '95 AWD wagon and want to be sure the calipers will accept the pads and be the right size, etc... I didn't even think about the ABS, I will have to check under the hood and see if I have a ABS brain.

I didnt realize my car had rear drums until the other day. I already ordered a set of replacement rotors and pads for the rear. Id like to know what all is involved with converting rear drums to discs? Also i need to know if i can use impreza parts as well? Thanks in advance. p.s. if you read this and your initial reaction is to tell me to search, dont waste your time.

I am always going to remember seeing his smile at every WCSS i attended. A rare soul was he. And he is going to be missed by many. Including me. Rally On Ed!! -Brian -

Don't know where you heard that, but your mistaken. Sean did build a RX... but this was not the one. -

Those are not Pugs, they are just some crazy 13" subaru wheels. I got them off of a 1978 DL Sedan in the Pick-n-Pull here. I had never seen these rims before, and still to this day have only seen 1 other set in person (on a Gen1 at a WCSS). I did not do the exhaust mods, and im sure the motor and all the mods I did are long gone. When I sold that car, it had a Hybrid EA82T with a EA82 SPFI shortblock, and pistons. I did put the suspension on the car, and the decals. -

Welp... its been a while. Thought maybe some people would like to see what I've been up to with this. Here's my latest build: apparently the new forum software wont accept my image??? way to go USMB. error: "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." If you are interested, here's a lengthy build thread located here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1903755 Here are some recent video's her in action: What I see on my Ground Station- What the GoPro see's- -
It was built by a guy here in Sacramento CA. it still has a 1600cc in it. All the running gear is Subaru.

Anyone into RC Crawlers??
TheSubaruJunkie replied to 88Subi4x4's topic in Non Soob Cars and Bikes Discussion
It doesn't really crawl... but its definitely off-road! I sold my Axial AX-10 RC Crawler in order to build it. I have a Losi MiniCrawler still that does all the sitting around my AX10 used to. -
DUDE WTF!?!?! BOBBY LONG?? WHEN? HOW?? I Have been out of the loop for too long i suppose

My buddy & I cut his cross member in pieces to build a custom mount for his Chevy motor & trans. We used the sides, but welded in a plate for a new bottom. Im sure you could do it in an hour... cut each end off... bolt them to the frame. Tack replacement plate in place... remove and finish.

I got bored. And strapped my FPV gear to my daughters Losi Mini-Crawler. Then sat on the couch and inspected my backyard for any storm damage

Well here is what my V-Tail copter looks like now: Everything is going into a new frame: Got the main wiring finished last night: Could be flying by the end of the day, but since its going to be raining for the next few days I think I will continue to take my time. I have a few electrical components to place and wire still... but its lookin good -

Here it is with its new video system. The keychain cam mounted to the front records in 720p onto a microSD card. It also sends video out to my video Transmitter that is mounted on the tail, and that transmits video to my ground station: I am using a RCA to USB video converter to view the video feed on my laptop. It works pretty good. It will be even better when I get GPS and other fun stuff Here are a few video's I have made in the past couple days. I plan on taking it to a real park tomorrow and stretch out a bit. Camera Testing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qGCTl0pTmk First full FPV flight: Second FPV flight from yesterday: -

Well I got tired of the YAW control, so I got rid of the steering servo and built a new tail section. They call this a V-Tail. I got it flying again today, here's some video of it. -

No. Keeping it in one spot is a chore. I have a more advanced flight controller on order that includes a GPS module. It will have 4 additional flight modes, including altitude hold & position hold. Then maybe I could pull it off -

Whats more amazing is a guy on the RC Forums modified the firmware that runs on the flight controller so it bypasses the broken ACC sensor, and i was able to fly that control board again. Here is a video I made showing the damaged flight controller, and me flying with it again: My friend was filming that video, but he wasnt standing very far from me. I guestimate my tricopter was 60' from my transmitter when it lost signal, and regained it. I later read there is a "dead zone" in the 2.4ghz frequency and its best to fly with your antenna at a 90 degree angle to your craft. Since learning that, i have been getting the tricopter higher and higher and it has yet to fail. I even got ballsy and strapped my Camcorder to the Tricopter to get some decent onboard video. And here is some short video I shot with it setup: I am amazed at how cheap its become too Shawn. Something like this would cost thousands 10 years ago. Hell, even today you can spend $3000 on a high-end FPV quad. I have already gathered enough spare parts to build a 2nd one. This next craft will be a standard Quadcopter using a 450mm frame. This 2nd build is only setting me back about $110-ish.
