  1. I am really glad to hear that. Tell her I miss her, and give her a smooch on the cheek for me will you?
  2. THATS WHAT IM TALKIN ABOUT!!
  3. I am totally cool with having a few bluegrass bands at this years WCSS!
  4. That would destroy gas mileage, and you already have a hard enough time keeping up as it is Im sure Jibs brat will have plenty of room & power. Also... i was lookin at the schedule of the fairgrounds and didn't see us listed. Is this the right website? http://www.skamaniacountyfair.com/schedule.htm
  5. D! You gotta hook me up with your address. Or meet me somewhere near JB's on Thursday. Are you following our convoy? And I can probably make room for the guard in my Brat if JB doesnt have extra room in his.
  6. See you at the show Jeremy. If you leave early enough and drive fast enough you maybe able to catch up to us. But, ive seen you drive so I doubt it
  7. Dave, what sort of route did you have in mind? Also, any word from the Arizona guys??
  8. From what Shean & David have told me, it is only quiet until I pass out. Then for some reason it sounds like a bear has entered camp
  9. Let me know what your route looks like Mike, and maybe we can meet up somewhere.
  10. Okay so here is where I am at: I have prepaid & bought glasses & shirts from Richie. So that pretty much makes it a 99% chance of me making it. That, and I have even been confident enough to invite Greenley along with me as my co-pilot to help me navigate tunes & keep my rump roast awake on the road. So with that said, I am still not sure if my departure will be from Sacramento enroute I5 or Reno with JB and Dave, enroute somewhere toward susanville. Reno to the WCSS via I5 ( http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=reno,+nevada&daddr=Skamania+County+Fairgrounds+in+Stevenson,+WA&hl=en&geocode=%3BFYYwuQIdnPm7-CG7_eByXd0RhQ&mra=ls&sll=39.530368,-119.81439&sspn=0.409379,0.891953&ie=UTF8&ll=42.073762,-119.146729&spn=6.302789,14.27124&z=7 ) is about the same as reno to the WCSS via 97 ( http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=reno,+nevada&daddr=44.048116,-121.322021+to:Skamania+County+Fairgrounds+in+Stevenson,+WA&hl=en&geocode=%3B%3BFYYwuQIdnPm7-CG7_eByXd0RhQ&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=7&via=1&sll=42.073762,-119.146729&sspn=6.302789,14.27124&ie=UTF8&z=7 ) Than there is my route, Sacramento to WCSS via I5 ( http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=95610&daddr=Skamania+County+Fairgrounds+in+Stevenson,+WA&hl=en&geocode=%3BFYYwuQIdnPm7-CG7_eByXd0RhQ&mra=ls&sll=42.461967,-120.753479&sspn=1.566238,3.56781&ie=UTF8&ll=42.114524,-122.036133&spn=12.593088,28.54248&z=6 ) which is only 90minutes shorter than the Reno's gang, which is the 90 minutes it takes to drive me from Sac to Reno. Or there is the option we have done in the past, where I travel I5 to Weed, and connect to 97 through Klamath Falls ( http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=95610&daddr=42.212245,-121.750488+to:Skamania+County+Fairgrounds+in+Stevenson,+WA&hl=en&geocode=%3B%3BFYYwuQIdnPm7-CG7_eByXd0RhQ&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=7&via=1&sll=41.95132,-121.168213&sspn=6.31491,14.27124&ie=UTF8&z=7 ) which is pretty much the exact same if I just drive to Reno to begin with. So that is the way up. Leave Thursday afternoon/evening. And Find ourselfs ariving at the Fairgrounds by Friday afternoon, with enough sunlight left to setup camp and start to make our rounds. The drive home seems like we have alot more freedom. We can finalize those plans when we are all together having lunch, somewhere in the middle of Oregon
  11. Every year there is always a section of camp that tends to stay up and roudy until 2am, 3am.... Until WCSS8 and 9 you just kinda got fed up with it and pissed off at people, then last year the WCSS crew actually designated a spot of the camp to be known as the Roudy Side. And the other side was more for families or old folk who like to get some sleep early. I like to sleep on the quiet side, but you wont find me there until way after dark
  12. You have a 2.2 and a couple hour drive. I have a pack of EA81's, and Oregon to drive through... we'll race! If you beat us Shean, find us a spot on the quiet side.
  13. Hey Cody, that looks pretty sweet. Did you put the Legacy on the Dyno too??
  14. Yeah I was expecting a reply from you eventually. Well, I was planning on possibly visiting Colorado before the show. But it looks like I might postpone my CO. trip until maybe mid Sept.
  15. Russ, that happend to me once. Crooks got their hands on check of mine, and nothing good of it happend. Anyhow, your bank should be able to see this is not your doing & if they are anything like mine will return all your money in a matter of days. If not hours. And to make things official. I just sent in my re-registration for the show. Russ, try not to let me forget your RX grill this year!!!
  16. Shean, just let me know and I will save you a spot near our camp. Will probably find SuberDave & his wife Lisa again like last year.
  17. Gotchya. We're running out of time!
  18. Oh gotchya. well, take the hose where it leads to the canister and plug it. That way it holds pressure haha.
  19. So the smog tech was able to locate this canister and notice a broken nipple?
  20. My math was wrong at first, and i sent him $33 instead. But its okay, consider it a $1 tip for everyones trouble.
  21. Kind of curious. I've been thinking of something. Just wondering right now....
  22. I would say use the hatch version. Find it, and take it and everything attatched to it between the canister and the engine. if its got a good nipple, it should fool the smog nazi's. I would imagine any California emission EA81 vehicle from 1983 to 1986 would have what you are looking for.
  23. Ok well let me see here, how should i put this? If the transmission you got has a TransferCase on it. It is NOT a subaru transmission. There are no transfercases in our EA's. There is a FWD 5spd Transmission. With a lever that engages a rear output shaft, and on dual range you get an extra low gear as well. There is no case to replace. The AWD Transmissions are totally different animals. A EA transmission and a EJ transmission are not interchangeable. Your CV joints will not work. Along with your final drive ratio & the fact the bellhousings are completely different as well. Your best bet for converting to AWD is to go find a RX or a GL10 wagon. RX from 1987 to 1989 have Dual Range Full-Time 4WD Transmissions (also known now, as AWD). GL10 Turbo Wagons in 1989 were offered with Single Range Full Time 4WD Transmissions. Both of these transmissions will directly replace your part time 4WD tranny. And will give you the benefit of AWD. You will also need to replace your CV joints with those of a RX or GL10 Wagon (any turbo EA82 subaru really). Hope that helps... alittle.
  24. pssst. hey russ. .....his runs.
  25. $32 for 2 shirts & 2 glasses correct? About to paypal some money your way Richie.
