A HUGE THANKS TO EVERYBODY INVOLVED!!! This had to be the best WCSS out of the 5 I have attended. Some things that set this apart from the others. Bonfire Divided camping for Loud & Quiet campers The turnout (WOW) The food The Trophy's (even tho I didn't get one... ) The entire freaking weekend!! The location was great! The coast is gorgeous!!! I got a chance to fulfill a lifetime dream of driving on the beach!!! WOOOT!! The weather was wonderful. Somehow, I think we lucked out with the weather. The drive up was great, and the drive home was even better. WCSS X will be hard to beat, but with the committee we have working on it, I know it will be a show to remember. As they all are! Huge thanks again to those I saw in Yellow: Tex & Monica Dan Dave Richie & his wife (name has escaped me) Jay & Ken. Huge round of applause to all of you, and anyone I may have missed -Brian

I'm Back, or something like that
TheSubaruJunkie replied to NoahDL88's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Welcome back Noah. Was real good seeing you at the show this year. I was almost positive you and Austin weren't going to make it, and had given up on us for your newfound two-wheeled friends. -
WCSS10 Camping Regulations....?
TheSubaruJunkie replied to TheSubaruJunkie's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Thats why I posted up over here. Dave (NV Zeno) will be bringing a canopy for shade and he told me we gotta gather a couple picnic tables to place under it. So maybe if we share some shade, rob you can share some seating?? I have one camping chair that folds up, but is horribly uncomfortable. Would love to help with the fire pit. -
WCSS10 Camping Regulations....?
TheSubaruJunkie replied to TheSubaruJunkie's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Well, nevermind. Alittle google work and I think i answered my own question. Nothing found at the website for the Clatsop County Fairgrounds. But I did find this site: http://www.crosscrusade.com/flyers/2007/october_28.html And taken from this site: -
I posted over at LegacyCentral and a member over there said the Astoria fairgrounds does not have tables in the camping area, and are not allowing any fires either. http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=36921 Is this true? I am packing extremely light and was not planning on bringing a camp stove. I thought for sure they would have BBQ pits or something. Im also shocked to hear there will be no seating. Are these campsites like Hood River where its pretty much an open lawn?

Jibs and Crazy D do not have internet so I will post this on their behalf. Not sure what their asking price, but I know Jibs will be bringing a LSD up to sell, and Crazy D will be bringing a PK Davis 2/3 EA81 lift. -
Sorry russ. Had I known, before this weekend, I may have been willing to go snag that for you. But now i definatly have no time to get it and bring it up... ...oh thats right. Your lame rump roast isnt even going to be at the show. You LOSE!

disappearing brake fluid
TheSubaruJunkie replied to abcus's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Brake fluid is going to destroy your paint as well. You'll know if there is a long lasting leak, if you notice paint bubbling and flaking off of a certain area. That would be where the fluid is running from. It will eat through the primer and leave you with bare metal. So it shouldn't be too hard to spot. If there are no signs of paint damage, then chances are the leak is somewhere else. Maybe comming from a caliper, or somewhere along the line. Look under the car, cause it will also eat through the rust proofing they spray under your car. May help you identify where the leak is. -
All good points. I didnt think to check for any debris on the hubface when I installed the rotors. But that would make sence. I did clean the rotors with brake parts cleaner before installing. I even had a buddy handle them when installing cause my hands were filthy. I know for a fact I did not overtorque the lugs. I may have to pull everything to check the hubs though

No problems while coasting. If I take my foot off the pedal while braking, the vibration disapears... I can coast down from 35 to 0 just as smooth as I can accelerate from 0 to 60. Yes, I had new tires installed the day after I put all new suspension on the car. Full alignment as well. That was about 5 months ago.

Bikes to WCSS10??
TheSubaruJunkie replied to BlueSoob's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
I ordered the adapter I need for my fork so I can use my bike rack again. I should get the adapter today, this way I can bring my bike to the show. Singletrack... YUMMMM!!! I think a small ride around town will be more appropriate with the crowd. I'll be prepared for singletrack, but I dont think the rest will. -
