you could do the prep work yourselfsome times if you warm up the glass fromm the outside it softens the glue.when i pulled the tint off my legacy that was done by a tinting shop,it came off real easy.there's some products you can buy that aids in the removal of tint also.if you do pull the tint yourself you'll need that stuff anyway.walmart carries it,in the auto dept.believe it's called tint-off or something similar.

i did get this link in the e-mail from the folks at kingdom trails www.greatnorthwoods.org/northcountryatvclub/ -
i agree with art,excellant photos. also,welcome aboard

but at least you used bolts.i just used the plastic bolts that were there to hold the bumper cover on.it seems to be holding.i did drill a small hole through the mounting bracket into the bumper and put in a small screw to prevent it from turning to much(seeing that you really can't tighten down that plastic screw to much.) we'll see down the road and see how they hold up.so in some aspect i didn't do it better cause your's more securely mounted.
-
i just installed a set of $20 dollor walmart lights.even though they're mounted on top of the bumper,i didn't have to drill.i used two of the holes that were there for attaching the bumper cover. see

i haven't tried seafoam yet,but the other day i picked up a quart of rislone engine treatment.picked it up while i was at work(walmart)supposed to keep engines clean-quiets noisy lifters & valves-restore lost power.i put it in yesterday cause i was down a quart(says i could put it in when down a quart),started it today an ran her for about 10 mins.tick went away like that. now i'm not trying to say it's better then seafoam(cause i haven't tried seafoam)but i was surprised that it worked that fast. just thought i'd add my tick fix

i was told that some auto parts/body repair stores have a polish you can buy to remove haze and clear things up. fortunatly i haven't needed to deal with it on my 94 legacy.but i did have that prob on my 92 legacy, though i never took care of it. welcome aboard, hope that all your questions will be anwsered.

i have similar prob in my 94 legacy.after un-locking driversside door,i have to manually push the lock button on the door to finish the un-locking process on the other doors. i was told the it's the contacts some where in the drivers door.i guess in the lock.wasn't to clear. not sure about the doors tring to lock by themselves

that toy is to clean,it needs to be dirty, dirty, dirty people i work with ask"why do you have a tow rope,a come-along and a sling in the back".i say"just in case i get stuck".they say "get stuck in what,a pot hole" oh that just ticks me off.i always say"don't knock em,till you've owned a subaru"

i gotta get me one of those decals great pics by the way,you can put me down of those pic cds. syphon-awesome film footage you have,so how long did you guys mess with the probe? kinda reminded me of a pack of dogs toying with injured prey(cool) -
first i'd look at which would cost more to do. if by chance they cost the same or close, then would you be willing to go through all the work to get the hatch to were you want it.(being a subie,i think alot of us would) just make sure you think about it hard and don't just jump into it.i'm always make those kind of decisions and i'm still kicking myself for it.(traded in my ol'92 legacy wagon for a silly 2wd dodge avenger)
-
how hard are those to put in? my 94 legacy that i have now came with a weird anti-theft device.you gotta put the left directional on before trying to start her,or the horn blows.gonna see if i can disconnect it.i sometimes forget to do what i have to and theres been times were i've startled some passer-bys
-
so where yah gonna mount the lights? don't forget to take pics i know what ya mean about affording a mudrat bumper
