  1. i've been told by a n.h. stae police officer that both plates are supposed to be on the car.he was gonna give me a ticket but because his partner was done writting out my speeding ticket he decided not to. it was a speed trap, but try an prove it
  2. ah yes that's what i was wondering also, you told me before but having bad memory an forgot to write it down
  3. ok just last week i put in a can of seafoam.at first i didn't notice a diff, but when i went to refill the tank an figure out last weeks mpg.i couldn't believe it(28.56 mpg) now i'm also thinking that my gauge is off,it said that i was at about 1/8th of a tank.normally when it's down that much it usually takes about 24-25 bucks (roughly about 12-13 gallons)to fill it at 2.35 a gallon.this time i put in $20 bucks and 8.46 gallons :-\ now did the seafoam do that well of a job or did i do something wrong.hmmmm weird oh btw-99% of my driving is in the city
  4. cool vid clips.seeing your gl-10 makes me miss my old 89 gl-10 with a really bad tick prob
  5. so does see run?
  6. or you can do this to save space in your post.simply go up to the top an right click on the photo gallery link, then click open in new window, then go to the pic you want to put in your post.right click it then click on copy.now when you go back to the mindow that has the post your working on,right click on the post your writing then click paste. i know it sounds difficult but once you get the hang of it,it's a breeze.no having to type in anything, just point an click.basicly
  7. it hasn't happened yet but i'd have to say... 1-no more dragging the belly against the deep snow an getting high centered. 2-to see the confused look on peoples faces and hear them say"you can do that to a subaru?" 3-nothing worse then hitting your head on the hatch.
  8. today i was at a intersection today, waiting to turn left into a shaws parking lot.i look over to the lot exit an there's a sweet silver svx.felt bad for it cause it looked like it was carrying a heavy load in the back seat or something cause it looked lower in the back.(maybe back passengers needed a diet) then when i came out of shaws, there's a nice grey xt-6 parked next to me. subarus are attracted to each other
  9. is yours this bad.apparently i hit it so bad that i caused a small crack near the plug.(or maybe the gasket just went) it leaks a little when parked after being driven, then stops with in like 20-30 mins.i made sure it wasn't anything else. is it me or did they put some of the bolts for the pan behind that cross member :-\ how difficult is it to replace the pan?
  10. the best way to check i found is to pull out the stock one and compare. i installed a set of pioneer 6.5 full range in the back of my legacy wagon and i had to use a spacer ring on one side to clear a metal shield underneath.also had to trim some of the plactic cover.
  11. right now,the only way i'm getting my lifting parts is if i get approved for the loan i just applied for. ($1500.) i'm crossing my fingers(an toes) if it does go through then maybe i'll get some stuff from mudrat i was denied so it looks like i'll have to start saving up.
  12. http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.aspx?T=2&S=11&Z=19&X=706&Y=12349&W=1&qs=%7cgranby%7cvermont%7c http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.aspx?T=1&S=10&Z=19&X=1413&Y=24698&W=1&qs=%7cgranby%7cvermont%7c voom out one bar(maybe) in the pic is mud pond and the gravel pit there's a small town called granby.it's about 15-20 mins away from e.burke. just a little past granby is a gravel pit and if i'm seeing what i think i'm seeing.some unpaved roads around that area.plus going up the road to the gravel pit you pass by a place called MUD pond. i don't think i'd try doing a water crossing though gonna see if i can contact someone in granby to see if the roads that are unpaved are open to the public, not to mention the gravel pit. will keep this updated Nellie Noble, 802-328-3611-town clerk.will try and contact her for info.by what i read, granby has a small population(1970=58 people)
  13. :-p wow,i didn't even think before asking that question.
  14. thanks for the suggestions  i'll give it a try.gonna have to pick up acouple cans.1 for the oil an one for the fuel. or should i divide a can between the two.
  15. i need to do something with the under belly of my legacy.didn't they come with some kinda skid plate? i was under her today an noticed some of the hits she has taken(oil pan, exhaust, gas tank shield all scraped up) kinda worried about doing damage to her belly thinking about 1/4 " or 1/2",is there a big weight difference between the two?
  16. i've had a set(not really a set) well one was killed by a tree branch and the other would aim were ever it wanted to.just flop around as i'm going down the street. quite funny to see at night, this beam of light just going all over the place.i should be ashamed really, being that lazy and not fixing it.
  17. i use 87 in my 94 legacy, she's starting to knock an ping.seeing the price of gas these days.would using octane booster work the same, say like if i keep useing 87 and at fill-up i through in a bottle. maybe paying the extra 10 cents or so a gallon at the pump would be easier then doing that extra step of putting in a bottle of booster.
  18. i know it's not mine but i saw this over at hatch patrol and i thought it needed some publicity. having a subie in that kinda situation,it's gotta be cool.plus the driver has got to have a set. looks like it could of been a roll over case.
  19. you could do the prep work yourselfsome times if you warm up the glass fromm the outside it softens the glue.when i pulled the tint off my legacy that was done by a tinting shop,it came off real easy.there's some products you can buy that aids in the removal of tint also.if you do pull the tint yourself you'll need that stuff anyway.walmart carries it,in the auto dept.believe it's called tint-off or something similar.
  20. i did get this link in the e-mail from the folks at kingdom trails www.greatnorthwoods.org/northcountryatvclub/
