  1. well its not difficult to find a wheel somewhere, but if your looking for a junkyard with alot of stuff, call up these guys, there far, but worth the drive so much stuff there, its like 100km from where you are probably and 85km from maple. http://www.domsauto.com/ Last time i went there was like 2 or 3 outbacks 4 legacies 90-94 range, and 1 totalled forester, one of them has to have that tray or a wheel. PS: i was there this weekened
  2. u need to get a alignment done, and you need a spring compressor.
  3. hmm, maybe get better tires, and/or invest in a limited slip for the rear that odd to help a bit.
  4. if i turn on the engine while the drain plug is out, will it dump out the fluid from the torque converter? or is that a bad idea.
  5. ya the 2.2 non turbo isn't great on the highway, but in the city anywhere from 0-80kph its a great car those speeds are pretty much instant, if ur on the highway trying to change lanes even if u floor it, just doesn't have alot of go, i mean it GOES but still seems very sluggish, even when it downshifts, ill bet the 5mt is much better.
  6. Well my dads 04 nissan titan went through 3 rotors sets upfront in 20,000km. Later they recalled them and they updraded the brakes to larger discs, and 2 piston caliper. And no more warping, and way better brakes. I say ASAP because its better to get it serviced ASAP lol.
  7. AT's are definitly more reliable ill bet a AT tranny could last forever if the fluid was changed often, just might not shift or something But i don't think they would ever FAIL.
  8. Want to laugh im now ordering $700 in suspension parts, OEM springs, 18mm rear sway bar, and gr2's, with all the bushings. And im looking for a muffler in the junkyard that doesn't sound like a piece of, and a shock for my trunk one of the shocks blew.
  9. thats what happens when you get screwed badly, and that's what i realized countless times that i could have updated my drivetrain, i still have original everything and managed to spend $10,000:mad: I still have original struts except the front ones, i got screwed really badly for the front ones, spent $1000 on two front ************TY rump roast struts, with original top hate bushings, and spring. Stupid a'holes. then another $3000 and they guy installs all used parts and today still doesn't work perfectly, engine is original never had any work, just timing belts. What really hurt was when i called a japan auto parts store and they told me they could get me a 2.2l with tranny for $1200 installed with 3 month unlimited warrenty and they have less than 30,000km.
  10. don;t get any muffler i did that, now i have a car that i spent $10,000 on to restore it to stock(still not done, but oh well) and the muffler makes the car sound like a ************ box, and its loud. I got to get a video.
  11. by any chance was your engine running while you had the gas cap open? That triggers the check engine light on alot of newer vehicles.
  12. well. then in that case, ill leave it, unless next fill up my fuel mileage is awful.
  13. i mean throttle body cleaner, then below it says, cleans o2,IAC,etc. Has under 20,000miles, but im not to sure if its OEM or what. But $80 is kind of expensive, and the CAT was replaced with the o2.
  14. you mean you get more then 310miles per tank? Not like i floor it either, just normal. I want to remove the o2 sensor and spray it with the o2 cleaner i bought, but im not to sure how im going to get at it, i think its rusted to the pipe :-\ I sprayed some PB blaster all over it, still very difficult to get in that area though.
  15. I got NGK's i think it says g-platnium on the front? The car drives SOOOOOOOOO smooth, before i had to always do like 1/2 throttle to get it moving, now i just tap the throttle and the car flies!!! NO hesistation at all! Perfect Oh, today the needle moved like .5mm and i did 62km, so i don't know when i do a full tank its above the full tank line. Imagine if i get 500KM a tank:slobber: CITY KM
  16. you should have did it the proper way and bought a new gasket for the IAC.
  17. I got pretty excited when i saw the light for the first time in my life light up AND i got pretty excited to see i got 406KM, but about 300KM was with my old plugs, hoping for 500KM next fill up
