try some KYB GR2's and get OEM springs, ill bet your originals saged and with old struts ya, so it should raise it about 1" from where you are at(PS there OEM quality). About the gas mileage try replacing plugs and wires, air filter,fuel filter, and replace the o2 sensor, use fuel injection cleaner, also try spraying the throttle body with throttle body cleaner i did it and my engine is running soooo smooth and idles unnoticeably. Now the blower motor? um maybe its overcooling the engine, is your temp gauge reading in the middle? About the sound like a shower, you might have your emergency brake or the brakes dragging as manarius mentioned, i had that issue turned out to be a brake dragging and the pad was totally warn, so it was a metal to metal braking which created the sound, so look into some new rotors, and pads.

I don't think its #1 unless were all lesbians here and im pretty sure these trannies last longer then most other manufactures, and headgasket issue is only common on first gen 2.5 engines. And subaru's overall get pretty good fuel economy considering they are AWD and weigh a crap load.

Ill bet if the transmission fluid was changed at proper internerals torque bind would not be common. Only thing is the drive solenoid can STILL fail.

nope, not at all, the only time there is a problem, is when the vehicle is OFF and it is rolling, because there is no fluid flowing around the transmission, and burns up the clutch.

My front left CV has a broken boot, and it really makes the car drive like ************, it makes acceleration VERY hard(i think its seizing when i stop) i mean its super rough on accel, its like VVVVVCRACK then it smooths out(when i say crack i mean the dash board cracks, v's represent engine reving) must be very bad the CV, i think im going with OEM this time around, im done with aftermarket, they just don't last as long, even the boot quality sucks.

you definitly won't have that problem But i think the timing belt is due. because after all these years, it probably deteriated, and the older design belts were made to last i belive like 80k. Or less.

I think these cars overall ARE strong, but what can not be predicited is if your body can take such hard force. Like if you were in a car that will NOT crumple NO MATTER what, if you hit a solid cement wall, you can still die, because the vehicle needs to withstand some of that impact!
