This is between the engine and tranny on the other side, i couldn't get a pic, but i see a rusted bolt on the other side, well just the thread, but the bolt seems to be broken off, with the thread sitting in it, on this side with the pic it's just a hole with threads, but no bolt, think i should put a bolt in its place?

lol, well, if it were me, just recharge the battery, then drive around, back in 1999, the alternator died on my subi, i didnt have a licence at the time, but were turning at a intersection, and right after my mom flew by the big rig, the car shivered, and died, and the car has a the original battery to, so my dad went to canadian tire got a new battery dropped it in, got us arround for 3 days, but no running ac, or vent, just windows down, and nothing else, and lights of course, and the radio a bit. But when it died, i was on my way to be dropped off at my friends house, so i called my dad, he got the alternator from shop he was near by, drove to where we were, and dropped in the alternator on the sideof the road, but i remeber the alternator was from a outback or a impreza, because the legacy oen was out of stock. But someone must have some experiecen with this, but to tell u the truth, i have seen some ebay alternators, and they say compatible with EJ22, and EJ25.

You know what i have a funny feeling its something else, i only hear a banging noise when im driving, with the heat or heat def button on, but i can feel a knocking in the floor! i dont think those door vents are that loud! what else could it be? i remember when i had to drain the fluid for the rad, i refilled it with the old fluid, but i think i have have contaminated it, can this clog something? possibly some motor oil, nitro fuel, and or tranny fluid, lol, because when i filled the rad i used a becker, the thing with the tube, i rinsed it out with hot water, but i think i may gotten whatever i poored through it in the rad, the car doesnt overheat, the heat is REALLY hot, just the dam banging noise, and i can feel it through the floor, and its really loud, but its not a steady bang its like a come and go bang while im driving, but it usually stops when i stop. JUst bothering me thats all, help is appreciated. Thanks.

i could do it, i can pretty much pull apart anything if i try and not break it, but think if i lube the cable from the tranny part, it might fix it? anything else i should try. I think my dad said were gona get another tranny and engine combo, my dad wants the car to be quick now,becuas when he jumps from his nissan titan to the subaru its so slow, lol, the EJ20H is a okish engine eh? But anyway, when i pull the speed cable what am i going to break lol.

lol, im bored, and keep repeating crap, lol, yes i have acually, but i got something easily, and i got taken with the same thing, the car was just out of warrenty, and the tranny wouldn't shift into 4th gear, then 3rd, then i had to get it fixed, but this happened after subaru did a tranny oil change. LOl, but i called subaru, and they fixed it free. they rebuilt the whole tranny.

EXACTLY, those idiots with the loud exhaust, and the wing, and the 25 inch rims, and the tinted windows, fancy taillight, and the blue headlights, LOL, what is this? lol, then they come down the street BMMMBBBMM like wtf is that, liek there license plate vibrating is louder then the freaking subwoffer!! what noobz.

Well if u guys watch top gear you would see how greatly a wing is needed at high speeds. Like when they tested the swedish 250mph car, when he was going real quick the stig, and he came around the corner, he lost the rear end, and crashed, but only small damage, then they sent it back the car, and they installed a wing, and the car was 4 seconds quicker!!!!!!!
