  1. Lot's of snow threads. Look around a bit.
  2. $2.34/ea through Subaru. Must have something to do with the brass and rubber combination. Sorry, best I could do.
  3. heard about it. Nice to see ya' back in the saddle PK!!
  4. If the HH is bad it should be leaking from the top.
  5. The cable may be disconnected but it still has fluid lines running to and from it. I would be sure to check the wheel cylinders as well. Call me if you have questions on removal. Ken
  6. NO! Definitely not for a C-note. Especially not off of a running/driving car.
  7. My guess would be that you were asking people to MEET you and go somewhere. Snow is always a fun time.
  8. Under accelleration would indicate ping or detonation. What grade gas do you run? Try higher grade gas and timing adjustments. You should be able to adjust some of the ping away and better gas should help as well. Stay away from AM/PM fuels for performance and mileage.
  9. Are you able to modify a 2.5 throttle body for more umph? If so, let me know what you can do and how much.
  10. Well..... That is pt# not application. They do not go on a ER27 they are ER27 bearings.
  11. Great time, see write up in Offroad forum.
  12. That or the idle is low and won't excite the alt right away.
  13. Follow this link, http://www.usmb.net/gallery/album15 It should take you to the brochures from the 80's. Good luck!
  14. Can't answer a question that doesn't have enough info. Give us specifics like model, year, engine and fuel system. Then sit back and watch the masters polish the crystal balls.
  15. I guess you've never seen a Nissan front diff before. Fabbing a solid rear is a bit more work than setting a front diff in the rear. Scott, the ratio's are 4.37 and 4.62 The front diff is a R180. Slightly larger housing. I am not sure if the overall dimensions are the same though. It may bolt up. A LSD center won't fit though as it is smaller than the Nissan center. I don't remember what the transfer ratio's are though. Sorry!
  16. Learn to drive it first. Mod it second. If you can't keep your car in control in all circumstances all the mods in the world will do you nothing. Not insulting your driving skills as I haven't seen you drive. But if you haven't been sideways before in your Subaru you will be needing more seat time. And I seriously recommend professionalk driving instruction of some kind. I have taken some and have benefitted from it.
  17. No, it is an upgrade. Mikey, come see me or get my number from Rob. Ken
  18. The dealer probably won't have access to the VIN. I would call and ask them though. Especially for a vehicle this old. A good locksmith can handcut a key for you if you can not access the passenger door lock cylinder.
  19. Gary, The XT/6 is a strange beast. I am dealing with a similar situation. What has probably happened is that on the bottom of the main slide is a plastic clip that guides the cable that moves the window up and down. Either the clip has broken or the cable itself has broken. You'll need to remove the door panel to verify which it is. It is a rather detailed series of things you must do to remove the window. Your FSM should help you here. The regulator is available through Subaru. I hear tell that the clips are as well. They break very easily so using a used one may be difficult. If you need any other questions answered PM me as I may or may not see additions to this post. Ken
  20. Update I went up to Greenwater Thursday morning. The snow is above the parking lot. If we get some more moisture it should move down. I stopped at the ranger station and they will be open on Friday, the 25th. I will be going back to get permits for me, Edrach, my inlaws, and Nephews. That will be the 5 that I can buy. There are ranger stations all over Puget Sound, just check the phone book.
  21. Yeah, what triggered that memory Brian?
  22. I would call first. I don't know if they will be open the holiday weekend. I will also check when I go up to get ours.
  23. Thanks buddy, but that's inhumane. My point is simple. To do the kind of damage that singletrack did he was either going too fast or didn't see an obstacle in his path.(or both) I have broken lift bolts, bent control arms and strut rods. Heck, even blew out both front tires at one time. I am not immune to breakage, but carnage, not unless I am being stupid!

26" tires on an '83 wagon will still require a small amount of trimming and maybe even a little pounding. The wheel wells just aren't as big as EA82 vehicles. 6 lug allows for a larger wheel and offset selection. You may need to verify that Ozified is still producing the 4/3 as I believe they had decided to offer the 3/3 for the EA81's.
