Oil Leak Somewhere on EA82T
I have discovered that the leaks are specifically engineered to stop components under the hood from rusting! Tha being said, its guaranteed that I will never have any rust under my hood.. I call it my custom protection coating:D

Switching to electronic ignition
Hmm . thanks for the heads up on the EA82 stash.. I was just down there a couple of weeks ago. Must have missed that yard(it was a sunday. They were probably closed).. Is that on the same strip as dismantlers 2000? I just noticed that Caboobaroo has "electronic ignition" listed as a mod on his 79 wagon.. you might want to shoot him an email and see if he has any info for you.

Well mike, we are very glad that you don't have a trip computer to deal with. all of that terrible storage loss would be tragic:brolleye:

Brat Price
Thats right bradd. Its all about the value of your word. I have had great dealings with board members. Buying selling and trading. All because the word of both parties involved were solid things which one could count on. I have noticed that the person ( Out of respect for the mods, I won't say his name) that cole98 was referring to has only been back to the board once since he completed his deal.. and that was just to inform everyone the deal had been completed. The unfortunate lesson being, be careful of short timers and fly by night members. Watch the other dealings of people you're considering transactions with. Someone like Qman or XSNRG.. they are the ones that do a lot of business on the board, so their dealings have to be on the up and up

Trip Computer Control Box?
It will bolt right in, but you have to cut out some of the back of the cubbyhole for clearance for the box, or use the console piece from the 88.. also, the wires a little too short to just move the box down, so I had to reroute the wires a little, and relocate the actual control box under the dash(behind the glove compartment.. sounds a lot more complicated than it really is.

Yay!!! Got my safari Rack!! :)

How do you richen up SPFI? HELP!
One possible way to check if you are running lean is by pulling your spark plugs and checking their condition.. all white and crispy indicates a lean condition. One of the most common causes is an intake vacuum leak. The absolute best way to tell is by hooking up an A/F meter.

Whine while driving?
The only whining I hear when driving is usually from my wife because I am going too fast Usually front wheel bearings will make a noise when pointed in a specific direction.. the noise will cease when the wheels are turned the other direction.

diff lock
Having that rear sway bar makes a big difference doesn't it? My last wagon didn't have it.. This one does.. even though its a little higher off the ground than the last one, it still handles better.

Limited Slip Differential
Sorry brian.. the LSD's are 3.7 for 80's ea82 soobs.. I believe( not sure on this one ) that the FT4WD 5 speed XT6 had an option of a 3.9 LSD.. but I could be wrong.. I do know that the RX's and GL-10's and such that came with an LSD were 3.7 though

sunroof question
Just pull the little black trim pieces off from both sides of the glass, then there are 2 or 3 nuts, 10mm I believe, on each side. Just be sure to put the shims back in the same as they were before. While the glass is out, that is an excellent time to clean all the crap out that accumulates in the sunroof area and can stop it from sealing.

went to the Junkyard today
Those are cool.. you should give it a good home before it gets crushed

Where's my 'puter?
it should be right under the steering column.. I have had 2 87 GL-10 wagons and they were both there.. Your car wouldn't perchance be a carbed GL would it?.. maybe one without a computer?
