  1. Stole another one from NASIOC. Thanks Craig.
  2. Not really. He has almost as many EJ parts on that car as EA. Check out his website and look at the conversion pics. I've seen the car in person a couple of times and theres a reason he keeps winning awards. Dave, your to modest. Tell everyone what you won at WCSS9.
  3. Did a search and found the thread. Not a whole lot of info, would have like to seen pics of the sub-frame, etc. But in all, great stuff. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66605
  4. I like it. Is there a write up for this? Like to know how you lifted it, etc.
  5. You need a higher post count to add a name to your profile. We do have a Forum Help section, I suggest using it:-p See ya tomorrow squirt:grin:
  6. Dont know the answer to that off hand, but I thought you were going to be there? Oh, and Dave, thats a great idea. For all the shots taken of my Hatch, there were no pics of me in the flesh......at all:-\ What, you guys afraid I would break your cameras or something?
  7. Lock tight is your friend for that bolt. I got tired of mine backing out on the turbo models and finally started using it. No probs since.
  8. Buwhahaha:lol: I be calling shortly.
  9. Ewww, you picked a good one:-p Remove all the heat shields, if you can. Remove the downpipe, then you should be able to access the line.
  10. Why? Did you find out someone else had a car by that name? Or were you inebriated(drunk) while trying to think up a screen name? Like Sweet said....deal with it!:-p
  11. Your Robert, I'm Rob. That should clear things up. Some. And I dont think you would be mistaken for me, your too young.
  12. I think the twisty turny from a autoX would end up turning Bucky into a pretzel:-p Fix what you can so he can live a few more years and use him as a draft horse. After that..........................the glue factory:rolleyes:
  13. Kind of like a mini version of my Hatch:lol:
  14. Double Doh! Guess I was right the first time:rolleyes: Thanks DJ:cool:
  15. Yeah, its got a 5spd, but thats about it:cool:
  16. Oh yeah, its a good tired....to much fun tired:headbang: Andrew didnt say anything about his ride in the Hatch probably because I had him squirming in his seat a few times. And I was taking it mellow too:-p
  17. Ok, I thought you were one of the XT guys from down in Rochester. He said he might show up. You be Tex's bro, right? My XT looked just like TacTowns but with gold Enkies. I lacked a driver to bring it to the show, otherwise you would have had serious competition.
  18. Regarding the temp gauge the grounds might be dirty, theres half a dozen or so in the engine compartment. And theres one for the dash and is a bit of a pain to deal with. Cant actually remember where its located tho. Have you changed both fuel filters? Theres one at the fuel pump, in front of the passenger side rear tire and one next to the wiper motor. And the only adjustment for the hood latch is a newer cable. Any EA81 cable should work.
  19. Should be just one line from the tank to the squirters. The tank pump is electric.
  20. If the body and interior is nice, I say go for it. Mech stuff can be fixed easy. The air susp can be replaced by any EA82 stuff, no problem there. But if its something simple to fix, keep it. I think the ride is better, and I have both to compare it to. Problems to look for.... Hood hinges, they go bad and break. Dont know why, but I've had 2 XT's that did. The trim bezel around the radio and dash. Its all one piece and a good one can be hard to find. Wiper assembly. The gear mech dries up (easily greased). If the assembly has lots of corrosion, it might break during removal. Lots of info on this over at XT6.net. And you know what to look for regarding the engine. Go thru the entire cooling system and make sure its A+ or you will end up with the same problem the PO had. And another added plus to having a XT..........You get to join another Message Board:headbang:
  21. I think he said Holley 4 barrel. Not sure what size, but Holley for sure.
  22. Yes, thanks to all for another great show. Even the ones behind the scenes;) I forgot to get a WCSS9 decal, do you have any left Richie?
  23. I hope I've recouped enough:rolleyes: I'm wiped out from this weekend:lol: Cant believe the Dragon is only 3 weeks away:eek:
  24. Still running a EA81 with a weber. It does the speed limit on the hwy, its all in the gearing;) Bratsrus has a cool new conversion setup for carbing a EJ. He brought it to the show to showoff. If I do a EJ swap this is what I would do.
  25. Stole these from Nasioc.
