  1. I wouldnt use house circuit breakers, they are rated for AC, not DC power. If you have alot of accessories, why not use a main cutoff switch? That would be the ultimate in peace of mind. Except when your running. Just have to remember to use it evertime you shut the car off. Properly shielded wires rated for the amperage your pulling will help from overheating. Do a little research on the net, there is a ton of info around.
  2. I think somebody needed a pump reeeaaly bad. And I can probably guess there are a few people on this board that are close to BGD's personality/character, they just hide it well:-p

I'm shooting for Aug for some wheeling trips. The cabin sounds like a plan, havent been there for a while. EC is another destination, maybe a HP Meet? Of course Yotas are welcome.
  6. It almost sounds like its a tooth off on the timing. My old 86 T-Wagon did the same thing till I redid the belts.
  7. Also in Wales, UK. My wife was there twice.
  8. Click on the photos tab to the right of my post. Loads of pics.
  9. Wow, thats a serious meltdown. Was that from a short/ground out? Glad that the rest of the car is still there.
  10. The burning smell is probably the varnish in the system from sitting so long. Not to mention all the spider condos you just toasted:-p
  11. Because he cant read it there:grin:
  12. Well, that explains a few things. The lady at the wrecking yard marked (very little, since I yelled) on the inside of a tail light lens I got for my RX. Now everytime I want to stop, it wants to go instead. Must be a reverse corialis phenome.
  13. There is a line that supplies the turbo with coolant. It runs from where the thermostat is, under the intake and to the turbo. Theres another line for the intake from the same place. It very small and a pain to replace, but I have seen lots of them leak. Please go to XT6.net and register. Theres loads of info there for XT owners.
  14. Werent there State Forest Roads off the left to the main entrance of the ORV Park? I recall going up that way a little last Show there.
  15. Gee Paul, wish I was closer. I would have given you some support;) You know my back is fubared:rolleyes: But glad you were able to accomplish your move without much help. I was lucky enough to have lots of help with my last move from local USMB members. Sometimes things work out, sometimes they dont. Now stay put for a while:-p
  16. Yeah, and Daddy spanks troublemakers:-p
  17. After you upload to the Gallery, click on the pic to enlarge it. Right click on it and go to properties. Highlight the location then right click it and copy it. Then when you do a post, click on the image tag in the menu box and paste it into the window. Wala, pic in the post.
  18. Start by going to the offroad forum and doing a search. There were several threads about snorks over there. Biggest thing is adapting a connection to your existing aircleaner. PVC is your friend:)
  19. Mmmmm yeah. I could open that door with a jimmystick in a couple of minutes:-p
  20. My first Soob was a 82 GLF and it had the 4 headlights. So I assume that its a fwd?
  21. I realised later that I should have removed all the plugs. But even with the current readings, I knew I had one toasted cyl. Not to mention the smoke, the low power, the knock, you get the point:-\
  22. The rear doors have a child safety lock on them. If its set, you cant open them from the inside, has to be donne from the outside. Once the door is open, lok at the latch mech on the door and you will see the toggle for the safety.
  23. Top right of the page here it says "Photos". You can go there and upload them to your own Gallery, then copy them to a post.
  24. I tried that. Didnt make any difference.
  25. Not sure if anymore are available. Have to ask the Masters:-p
