Well, that explains a few things. The lady at the wrecking yard marked (very little, since I yelled) on the inside of a tail light lens I got for my RX. Now everytime I want to stop, it wants to go instead. Must be a reverse corialis phenome.

There is a line that supplies the turbo with coolant. It runs from where the thermostat is, under the intake and to the turbo. Theres another line for the intake from the same place. It very small and a pain to replace, but I have seen lots of them leak. Please go to XT6.net and register. Theres loads of info there for XT owners.

Turbone replied to moosens's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Gee Paul, wish I was closer. I would have given you some support;) You know my back is fubared:rolleyes: But glad you were able to accomplish your move without much help. I was lucky enough to have lots of help with my last move from local USMB members. Sometimes things work out, sometimes they dont. Now stay put for a while:-p -

Yeah, and Daddy spanks troublemakers:-p -
After you upload to the Gallery, click on the pic to enlarge it. Right click on it and go to properties. Highlight the location then right click it and copy it. Then when you do a post, click on the image tag in the menu box and paste it into the window. Wala, pic in the post.

Start by going to the offroad forum and doing a search. There were several threads about snorks over there. Biggest thing is adapting a connection to your existing aircleaner. PVC is your friend:)

Help! boost peaks, then drops
Turbone replied to Marck's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I realised later that I should have removed all the plugs. But even with the current readings, I knew I had one toasted cyl. Not to mention the smoke, the low power, the knock, you get the point:-\ -
A little prob with a door lock?
Turbone replied to ellets's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
The rear doors have a child safety lock on them. If its set, you cant open them from the inside, has to be donne from the outside. Once the door is open, lok at the latch mech on the door and you will see the toggle for the safety. -
Top right of the page here it says "Photos". You can go there and upload them to your own Gallery, then copy them to a post.

You will need to come over Chinook pass, it probably the fastest. And you come over real close to to a few of us (Bonney Lk, Buckley, etc). We are thinking of setting up a meet for next month, we need to welcome back a long lost soldier with a wheeling trip:headbang:

87.5 XT Turbo goes clankity clank... CRAP!
Turbone replied to skishop69's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Like I said, I have a couple of blocks here. Still remember where I live? Have you looked at the RX real good yet? Whats the body condition, etc? If its in very good shape, I would consider $800 - $1000. Thats good running too. -
I've made caps for those before. Impossible to find any. I use the centerpiece from the stock 80's cap and then make a backing piece the same diamter of the hole/inset. Paint it any color you want and glue it in.

The Hatch Patrol might be making a run in Aug. Havent set a date yet, stay tuned. Russ, you kind of just jumped in your car and took off, everyone was wondering where you were headed until I think Josh said you were going to get your car muddy:-\

I've seen 2 piece boots on Ebay before, so you wouldnt need to remove the axle to replace the boot. They arent worth squat IMHO, but if your selling the car down the road...

I gave a off road ride to anyone who asked, and some that didnt:-p Jibs, you just looked at me and kept on trucking. I kept my Hatch in camp mostly, so people could see it and come say hi. Besides, its a little more photogenic than me:-p Sure, things were different this Show, but thats the nature of the beast. There were different people orginazing this year and for them it was a learning experience. I think they did a bang up job and can only get better in the future. -
Yes, awesome pics. Thanks Craig!

Flowmaster is the Mod for the Old Gen Forum on NASIOC. He's quite tolerant, but he's always on the road now.
