  1. Your Robert, I'm Rob. That should clear things up. Some. And I dont think you would be mistaken for me, your too young.
  2. I think the twisty turny from a autoX would end up turning Bucky into a pretzel:-p Fix what you can so he can live a few more years and use him as a draft horse. After that..........................the glue factory:rolleyes:
  3. Double Doh! Guess I was right the first time:rolleyes: Thanks DJ:cool:
  4. Yeah, its got a 5spd, but thats about it:cool:
  5. Oh yeah, its a good tired....to much fun tired:headbang: Andrew didnt say anything about his ride in the Hatch probably because I had him squirming in his seat a few times. And I was taking it mellow too:-p
  6. Ok, I thought you were one of the XT guys from down in Rochester. He said he might show up. You be Tex's bro, right? My XT looked just like TacTowns but with gold Enkies. I lacked a driver to bring it to the show, otherwise you would have had serious competition.
  7. Regarding the temp gauge the grounds might be dirty, theres half a dozen or so in the engine compartment. And theres one for the dash and is a bit of a pain to deal with. Cant actually remember where its located tho. Have you changed both fuel filters? Theres one at the fuel pump, in front of the passenger side rear tire and one next to the wiper motor. And the only adjustment for the hood latch is a newer cable. Any EA81 cable should work.
  8. Should be just one line from the tank to the squirters. The tank pump is electric.
  9. If the body and interior is nice, I say go for it. Mech stuff can be fixed easy. The air susp can be replaced by any EA82 stuff, no problem there. But if its something simple to fix, keep it. I think the ride is better, and I have both to compare it to. Problems to look for.... Hood hinges, they go bad and break. Dont know why, but I've had 2 XT's that did. The trim bezel around the radio and dash. Its all one piece and a good one can be hard to find. Wiper assembly. The gear mech dries up (easily greased). If the assembly has lots of corrosion, it might break during removal. Lots of info on this over at XT6.net. And you know what to look for regarding the engine. Go thru the entire cooling system and make sure its A+ or you will end up with the same problem the PO had. And another added plus to having a XT..........You get to join another Message Board:headbang:
  10. I think he said Holley 4 barrel. Not sure what size, but Holley for sure.
  11. Yes, thanks to all for another great show. Even the ones behind the scenes;) I forgot to get a WCSS9 decal, do you have any left Richie?
  12. I hope I've recouped enough:rolleyes: I'm wiped out from this weekend:lol: Cant believe the Dragon is only 3 weeks away:eek:
  13. Still running a EA81 with a weber. It does the speed limit on the hwy, its all in the gearing;) Bratsrus has a cool new conversion setup for carbing a EJ. He brought it to the show to showoff. If I do a EJ swap this is what I would do.
  14. I gave alot of rides too. It was fun watching some of them squirm:lol: I was telling them that besides the water, the trails were pretty tame. Well, except for the one on the other side of the pond:-p Darn mud was slick.
  15. I was poking fun at the drunk driver actually. Doesnt matter what you drive, if your being a idiot, your headed for trouble. I'm not sure what water hole you were talking about, but I was planning on going thru that wide trough to the left of the main pit. I was waiting for Art and another guy that were taking pics of me all weekend but they never showed. It was getting late and I really didnt want to have to try and dry the Hatch out before hitting the road. But thats the deepest I've been yet................in a Soob.
  16. Only after I parked my Hatch there. That thing left some nasty patties where I stopped:-p I had to use my shovel like a pooper scooper so no one would step in em:lol:
  17. I got one of you on your board...after you took a spill. Give me a few to upload it. You should have got a award for being "Official Nut of the Show":-p Good seeing you again.
  18. That really sucks to hear about the thefts Zap:mad: Seems like every year, you end up being a victim. As for the Yota jabs, you know its all in fun. At least from me it is. I've been out with you enough to know. The guy in the stuck Yota was drunk and I told him he wouldnt have any problem going thru running 35's. He just took the wrong line:rolleyes: Cant explain stupidity sometimes. Next time tho, have somebody with you that can take pics. I love seeing your truck wheeling:headbang:
  19. I did this a couple of years ago to my 86 T-Wagon. The only problem I had was trying to get the release bearing removed. I didnt have enough clearance to get it off the shaft.
  20. It stopped raining after I showed up:headbang: That rain sure turned the mudpit area into a.......well.......mudpit:rolleyes: Some of the slickest, goeyest and thick stuff I've seen in a long time. Man, was it fun!
  21. SuberDave has a bunch of pics in his thread in the Meet and Greet forum. Theres some over at Nasioc too. I'm sure more will be popping up after a day or two. Everywhere I went, there were cameras. Even on the fwy home:rolleyes:
  22. The camo Hatch is mine. Look at SuberDaves pics in his thread. There must be 20 pics.
