  1. I gave alot of rides too. It was fun watching some of them squirm:lol: I was telling them that besides the water, the trails were pretty tame. Well, except for the one on the other side of the pond:-p Darn mud was slick.
  2. I was poking fun at the drunk driver actually. Doesnt matter what you drive, if your being a idiot, your headed for trouble. I'm not sure what water hole you were talking about, but I was planning on going thru that wide trough to the left of the main pit. I was waiting for Art and another guy that were taking pics of me all weekend but they never showed. It was getting late and I really didnt want to have to try and dry the Hatch out before hitting the road. But thats the deepest I've been yet................in a Soob.
  3. Only after I parked my Hatch there. That thing left some nasty patties where I stopped:-p I had to use my shovel like a pooper scooper so no one would step in em:lol:
  4. I got one of you on your board...after you took a spill. Give me a few to upload it. You should have got a award for being "Official Nut of the Show":-p Good seeing you again.
  5. That really sucks to hear about the thefts Zap:mad: Seems like every year, you end up being a victim. As for the Yota jabs, you know its all in fun. At least from me it is. I've been out with you enough to know. The guy in the stuck Yota was drunk and I told him he wouldnt have any problem going thru running 35's. He just took the wrong line:rolleyes: Cant explain stupidity sometimes. Next time tho, have somebody with you that can take pics. I love seeing your truck wheeling:headbang:
  6. I did this a couple of years ago to my 86 T-Wagon. The only problem I had was trying to get the release bearing removed. I didnt have enough clearance to get it off the shaft.
  7. It stopped raining after I showed up:headbang: That rain sure turned the mudpit area into a.......well.......mudpit:rolleyes: Some of the slickest, goeyest and thick stuff I've seen in a long time. Man, was it fun!
  8. SuberDave has a bunch of pics in his thread in the Meet and Greet forum. Theres some over at Nasioc too. I'm sure more will be popping up after a day or two. Everywhere I went, there were cameras. Even on the fwy home:rolleyes:
  9. Haha..............smart a$$:-p
  10. The camo Hatch is mine. Look at SuberDaves pics in his thread. There must be 20 pics.
  11. Email me, all the ones of me:grin: Those are great pics Dave, not just the ones of me:headbang:
  12. Dont know. We left right after one of his buddies showed up....in another Yota:-p My battery was toast after all the winching. I need a dual setup, bad.
  13. Yeah, if you want to see pics of me and the Hatch, your going to have to wait for everyone else to post them up:-p
  14. You were there? Didnt even look me up:-\ I won Best Off Road:headbang: Robert won Best XT.
  15. Well, seeing how I was unable to RallyX my RX (due to low engine breakin miles) I was putting my Hatch thru some serious water crossings. Can we say "Floater"? The mudput pit was gnarly deep, maybe 40+ in in some areas.... The axle snap was neat. It snapped clean off at the cup and made a cool sound too:headbang: I have this on film, just need to figure out how to get it uploaded somewhere so I can post it here. Any suggestions? I had about 3 to 4in of water inside after my second run thru the pond. I got water in the disty about 15ft in and was running on 2 cyl. I would get the r's up and give it some clutch, then move about a foot. Did this for about 5min then the water dissapated and ran on all 4 and I was up and out. My first run thru was a eye opener. I got 3/4 thru and I had no more traction. The tires were going good, was in real deep but not making a forward progress (or very little). I turned the wheel back and forth and kept my foot in it. At this point I think the tires were paddle wheels. I was moving, but slowly....maybe because I was floating? Finally caught bottom and it pulled right out. Cant explain how its sounds when your exhaust is under water, but it was blowing bubbles for sure:lol: I didnt get there in time, but Scott got swamped in the middle also. But he was able to dry out and drive out under his own power. I didnt get any pics of the area on my digi:confused: Thats lame....but I was to busy driving and enjoying myself to take pics:-p I hope I was entertaining for everyone and from what I saw there were lots of cameras rolling and clicking. Heck, I had people taking pics of me driving home on the Fwy:rolleyes: I know alot of you that were out there took pics and vid of me, so if you got em, post em!
  16. Andrew showed up around 9ish? Sunday morning. He ended up having to work Sat and was going to come that night but came Sun instead. I did take him out in the Hatch and got him a little muddy:-p So it wasnt a wasted trip for him. Oh, and he was kind enough to wash my windows before we all left:headbang: We will be caravaning together to the Dragon in a couple weeks also.
  17. Yes there is. It takes a good set of side cutters or a hacksaw, or what ever. You just cut thru where the line goes thru at the narrowest point. Then bend the top and bottom out of the way and pull the line out.
  18. Yup, plenty of pics will be forth coming. I have my vid camera and the digi, and I'm pretty good at taking candid shots;) Who can host lots of video?
  19. Will you guys do me a favor next year? Start a fund so I can fly out there? Sure wish I could go, but I'll see some of you at the Dragon:-\
  20. Rodger dodger... I'm ready to Rock n Roll:headbang: Knocking on wood:rolleyes:
  21. I was also being a little sracastic:rolleyes:
  22. Still a go for between noon and 3ish on Fri. Thats my mini caravan of 3.
  23. No matter how cute (and quick) that little mouse is, he's setting up house. Soon there will be lots of those cute little buggers running around your car. And using it for a toilet:eek: And when they die, thats where they rot. Kill it. The sooner the better. And why didnt you go back to see if you could find your pulley?
  24. Just been informed that there wiil be fire pits at each campsite, but there will only be so much firewood available. So you might want to bring a few logs if you want a fire at you campsite. And.....there will be a communal fire pit:cool: So we can all "Kume By Ya" at night:-p If anyone can bring extra wood for this, please do.
  25. Like I said, you get what you pay for. The engine will outlive your current car and probably cost more than what you paid for the car. But I would imagine that the engine by itself would have a excellent resale value on its own.
