  1. Those are his street tires btw, makes a diff.
  2. Nonono, remember what we talked about? You owe your favorite neighbors a wake up call
  3. You should try steering an XT6 when the Cybrid goes out Why would you go to all the trouble of doing the lines, when you could just swap the rack and havE it done?
  4. Uh, you said it was driveable. Whats it running like? Inquiring minds want to know
  5. It doesnt matter where you come from. When you know better to ask such a lame question about running a PS rack without fluid, its just common sense that it will ruin the rack. Once you remove the lines, every time you turn the wheel more fluid gets pumped out of the rack. But hey, its your car
  6. Mines the same way, no side or rear skirts. Doesnt really matter to me tho, its not the skirts that make the car :-p
  7. No, not bad. I thought it sounded better than any fart can No problem with lack of back pressure?
  8. Well, theres 2 ends to the cable (duh). One end goes to the top of the tranny and the other is on the back of the cluster. You need to pull the cluster to get to the cable.
  9. Shouldnt be rings with only 32K on it. I say do a tune up and adjust the carb, then see how it runs.
  10. Just to clarify about the proper marks. These would not be the timing marks. The marks you want are just about 1/8 turn CCW to the timing marks. Line up the middle mark to the pointer and then set the drivers side cam mark to the 12 o'clock position. Once the belt is installed, rotate the crank pulley until the drivers side cam mark is at 6 o'clock. Then make sure the passenger side cam is at 12 o'clock and install that belt. Should be good to go then, simple enough?
  11. When you left my place today and hit the main road, I could hear you hit the go pedal. For some reason, when I heard it, the first thing I thought of was a racing MG (on steroids)
  12. Cool, its all grown up What about the side skirts?
  13. Not bad. If you shed some weight it might be even faster
  14. Gee Glen, I didnt think you were serious His thread subject states its a EA81T
  15. He said he would donate the $ for the stuff he didnt ship to the USMB. As far as I know he never came thru on that either. Personally, I dont want to hear from him ever again. He's burnt all his bridges and knows it.
  16. It might be the Throttle Position Sensor. Its on the side of the Throttle Body and you will see a wiring connector to it. Remove it and see if the contacts are corroded. Clean them if they are. To adjust one is a beotch, you will need the FSM.
  17. Roof Racks Roof Racks Roof Racks Oh, and maybe a Light Bar on a Roof Rack
  18. Throw the EA81 Turbo away and get the EA82 Turbo/Downpipe/X-Over pipe(header). All this is pretty much a bolt up deal, altho the header bolts might be reversed. You will need to remove the studs and swap them over to the other holes. The water cooling lines might be a hassle too, seeing how yours was never upgraded by the dealer. You need to tap into the heater return hose (I think) and route a return line also.
  19. Oddcomp, I have one on the back of my 86 T-Wagon, do want a pic or 2? Its the reciever type and looks to be aftermarket.
  20. Hmm, local. Hey Qman, want to go? Should we challange the mudpit or obstacle course too?
  21. Looking good guys, wish I could help :-\ I would love to see how fast Eric and I could put the shingles on
  22. This should be in the USRM. Great write up Gary
  23. Just might have one. PM me for details.
  24. But then again, maybe not http://xt6.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=30466#30466
