  1. Maybe, what day and time?
  2. Hey Tim, try and shoot for McChord or Ft Lewis next time, eh?
  3. Its "almost" a twin of Qmans old hatch. I'm already missing mine Looks like its going to be fun
  4. Gee, I was hoping for quick results like the last one
  5. Oh, and one last thing. Get a donor car. You will be much happier. This way you will not have to run back and forth to the JY to get parts you forgot
  6. Also, (I bet you all didnt think I was going to say anything, eh?) you need to have the pedal box/clutch pedal, clutch cable, tranny x-member, leading rod/stabilzer bracket (this holds the tranny x-member, which is different on 2wd), the complete strut assembly and hubs (might as well, its all one unit). You need to cut out the shifter hole for the 4wd engage just a little and try and figure out the wiring for the trans ignition lock and light on the dash for 4WD. Did I leave anything out?
  7. I dont claim to know all about AC, but if there is air in the system there is a sensor that will shut it down? You may need to purge the air out. But remember to read the disclaimer above.
  8. You were thinking, but not looking. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18351
  9. That thing is soooo ooold, I would be real surprised if you got volts out of it. For some reason when I see things like this, it reminds me of something my Dad told me when he didnt want to tell me what he was making. He would say "Its a skittle for a ginsaw"
  10. Try not to break it before then, eh?
  11. I thought that thing left on the track was somebodys inside fender skirt
  12. Eh, my bad, been a long day. The FSM says to turn one full turn CW (360). The flywheel marks and cam sprocket are supposed to be in their normal positions, cam mark up and flywheel marks (not timing marks) centered. Edit...This is for only the left side, once you determine if the right side is on correctly.
  13. Yup, start kicking First of all, when you start this process, the crank needs to be lined up with the 3 small marks on the flywheel. These are not the timing marks. When you see the timing marks, keep turning the flywheel (CW) till you see these 3 lines. After you install the right side (driver) belt the crank needs to be turned 180deg. You need to make sure the left side (pass) valve train is at the compression stroke, with the dot on the cam at the top. This will put the right side cam mark pointing down. Now you install the left belt, and it should fire right up. If you havent removed the Disty, it shouldnt take much to time it. To make sure you have the drivers belt on right, just make sure the cam mark is pointed straight up, and that the 3 lines on the flywheel are showing.
  14. If you crank it over a few times then remove a sparkplug, you should be able to tell if those cylinders are getting fuel. Are you sure you got the timing right for the belts? (I had to ask) It could be that the belt was put on when the cam was in the exhaust cycle, not intake (compression).
  15. Craig, I didnt see your post till now. I went to bed early so I could get up in the morning. Those were some of the worst track conditions I've seen yet. I'm real lucky I didnt toss a rock into my engine It was drier than the Sahara today and when the truck finally got out there the track was wet for maybe 3 runs. My times werent that great, but not that bad after a 2 year hiatus. My fastest was a 1.21.+ but it got worse after that. It was hard to carry any speed into the corners because of the ruts, and if you did it would just throw you out with no control. To much air, it was a fast track. Hopefully the one in Brooklyn will be better, I would like to be there. And the T-Coupe ran great, I just need to make some mods
  16. If I could find the pic I might be able to tell you
  17. Doh! Hate it when that happens  If you look at SubyStyles pics link up above, you will see what can be done. And yes, it needs to be made to fit.
  18. Do you have a donor car? Just transfer everything over if you do. Might try a search also, its been a topic in the past.
  19. I agree with Morgan, on all counts. What are you running for fans? I think you were considering this when you were putting the engine in a while ago.
  20. Hey, the T-Wagon "race?" was in a straight line on the street. Cant compare that to the track :-p I'm itching to race, its been 2 years. Should have been running the T-Coupe, now that its got some beauty marks its not a biggie any more. If anyone remembers WCSS3, I ran on Sunday's Fun Run. And I had the fastest time out of all classes. This time I have good tires Oh, and while cleaning out the car today, I had to get rid of 3 hornet nests. Only got stung once;p
  21. I do have more parts for the Hatch (doors), just need to come get the stuff. I think thoses tires have been on 3 or 4 Soobs now. They are outlasting the cars
  22. Start looking for a 5spd D/R to put in. Sounds like the tranny went south.
  23. Looks like I'm in, got new plates for the T-Coupe. Prepare to lose
  24. Qman has over a 100hp in his EA81 Rally Brat. Do you want to argue with him?
  25. Negative on the glove box, or any other place inside. You will get sick from smelling gas fumes Qman had a snorkel on his hatch, I'll see if I can find some pics.
