  1. It helps to disconnect the bottom of the shock and if it has a swaybar, to remove that also. That way the control arm can drop more and give the axle more articulation.
  2. If you sucked the tank dry, its a good chance that the filter on the end of the fuel pump is clogged. The fuel pump/sending unit is on the top of the tank on the passenger side. There should be a metal cover on the floorboard with 4 screws for access. Pinch off the fuel lines, unplug the connection and remove the bolts for the top plate. It all should pull out as a unit with the filter sock at the end.
  3. You would know by now if it did any damage, but I would keep a eye on it. Have you put anti-freeze in yet?
  4. Glad you could make it, thanks for coming. I think I've finally thawed out now :-p
  5. While doing my donuts my old sloshed real bad and it puked out all over the engine and engine compartment. I went to a car wash today to pressure wash everything and the place was closed...........it was all frozen up
  6. Finally got pics of both seats installed. Also swapped tires (again) on the RX. One of the wheels was really bent and I cant get a set of alloys for at least a couple of weeks :-\
  7. I know at least 2 people were taking pics of the mess
  8. Erik (Eriksport) posted up some pics and vids over on Nasioc. Some great stuff, so of course I thought I would share http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=29062267#post29062267
  9. Thats it.....I'm stayin home :-\
  10. Heres the weather report from NWS and NOAA. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...0&unit=0&lg=en Looks like 30% chance of snow Sat night. But Sun is partly sunny, with a high near 18. East wind between 17 and 21 mph. In other words.....colder than a witches *****. Dress warm and bring blankets. I'll be bringing my propane heater and I think Qman will also. Oh looky......my 10k post
  11. I know that tune, it sounds like the front diff is toast :-\ Start looking for another tranny. If you want more info on what to get, go over to the SVX Forum.
  12. Got my snow tires mounted yesterday. I have to stop taking crappy cell pics
  13. Theres also a chance the flex plate is cracked. What are the symptoms?
  14. Haha....I'll have to show you sometime how much my car likes hi octane
  15. You need to use the smileys to get the point across
  16. Well, seeing how your not cleaning out your PM box, I'll post this here: Theres more to it then just slapping a TD04 on. Have you read up on any of the threads involved with the swap? You need a WRX up-pipe and down pipe for the flanges, which need to be welded to your EA82T up-pipe. Then I suggest getting a top mount intercooler as the extra boost is going to heat things up. Look in your Nasioc Chapters For Sale Forum(http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=131), you might find the parts there. Or keep a eye on Craigslist, I found my TMIC there. Heres a good thread to read also...http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=88249 I also suggest you get a manual and read up on how these engines work, plus do a search here on all the threads about EA82T's. I can only help so much. I have lots of projects and I'm raising 2 teenage boys by myself. Theres others here that can help, but disregard anything that GD has to comment about on this topic Another thing is the higher mileage on your engine. If you start doing mods to it, it wont last long, trust me.
  17. If your only coming up to get a tree, your priorities are all wrong Theres going to be alot of Subaru folks there to meet and wheel with.
  18. They feel awesome. These were going in my RX, but they are simpler to install in a EA81. I'm sticking to Subaru seats in the RX, prob RS or better.
  19. 86deathwagon has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.
  20. I wanted to wait till I had the other seat in, but I got sidetracked today and it was to dark to take a pic. But both seats are in......Mitsubishi Eclipse seats. They almost match the stock seats
  21. What year is the car? If its 87+, it will have a hotwire MAF and that can get dirty. Most Auto Stores carry MAF cleaner for this.
  22. Its something of a gimmick, I wouldnt waste my money on it. Altho some say it has increased HP a little.
