  1. Check the ignition connection plug under the dash first. They have a tendency to get toasty from over cranking and years of use. Maybe check the fusible link in the engine compartment also.
  2. Gee, real nice job on the painting
  3. Very nice, I like all 5. If I had the $ I would jump on the T-Leg.
  4. Last year was snow-less. Sorry Ken, couldnt resist :-p 07 we had quite a bit of snow. These pics where taken in the same staging area.
  5. Pics from my wifes old 86 T-Wagon. Yeah, I know....it was pretty dirty I used the same console cupholder in my RX. I dont have any pics of the ones in my Hatch yet, will soon tho. I have one of the door/window hook types stuck into the crack between the center radio console and the heater control panel.
  6. And the price of gas was from .14c to .24c a gallon!
  7. Did you check all the coolant line connections? 2 at the tranny and 2 at the radiator. Also might look underneath while its running and look for drips.
  8. Now that had to be one exciting (and long) trip!
  9. If you get the control arm off, just replace it with another. I'm sure someone in your neck of the woods will have a extra.
  10. Sometimes its a little slow here, not at all like Nasioc. I remember seeing your car at WCSS11, didnt you win something? And get some pics up of that Brat
  11. Might also check if you are getting full throttle at the carb. Have someone push the pedal to the floor then check at the carb to see if you can give it any more at the linkage.
  12. My vote is for the 02 sensor. How is the engine power wise?
  13. My longest road trip was back in 07. Went from my place in WA to Deals Gap in TN (Tail of the Dragon) to spend the weekend with a bunch of XT buddies. 6ooomi trip with a few detours.
  14. Does your car have a catalytic converter? It acts like a clogged cat. I would try adjusting the timing a little also, it doesnt have to be dead on.
  15. I suggest reading thru this thread - http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=88249 It has alot of good info. I was in the same boat as Junkie, bought a cheap MBC but I had worse results than he did. I broke the ring landings off a piston. So, after getting a rebuilt engine, I broke it in then slowly did my mods. I'm using a Hallman MBC now, it works great. I can dial in up to 12lbs, thats where I hit the fuel cut. I run at 10lbs tho, I need it to last the winter. Heres what my setup looks like.
  16. Considering all the wind storms we've been having, a few good chainsaws might be good to have with us. I will bring my bowsaw if someone wants to be more "traditional" for cutting a X-Mas tree
  17. You dont have to get a tree, come and enjoy the snow (hopefully). Heres the thread(s) and people coming. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=105143 http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1875717 As you can see, theres going to be alot of people there. And there will be lots of other rigs too, not just Soobs.
  18. Just make sure you use the axles from the turbo tranny.
  19. Yeah, its the easiest detail to overlook. But one of the key components.
  20. No, its a major detail. And a MAJOR pita, I've done a couple. Like Gary said, its easier to drop the steering column and deal with it that way.
  21. You forgot the pedal box :-p That needs to be transferred over also.
