  1. Its ok to throw my name out there We finally agree on something
  2. Surprised I never posted mine here Aircraft running lights for the front, set up on 2 switches to alternate. And the rears are some halogens and are plenty bright.
  3. Well first of all, its a full time tranny. Second, the diff lock makes the power ratio to front and rear 50/50. It will also cause serious binding if you use it on dry pavement(the diff lock).
  4. I've seen some pretty tight fits before, just make sure the pins are lubed so the caliper halves can move freely.
  5. Those arent the only reasons they are weak. The valves in the tranny are to weak for the weight of the car. Which makes it overheat, which shortens the life. But I have heard that a cooler doesnt help much in colder climates, its actually detrimental as the fluid doesnt warm up enough to work right. Contact NikFu S. over at the SVX board and ask him some questions, he lives in AK also. I may have a pass side marker.
  6. Take a can of brake/carb cleaner and start spaying around the vac hoses. Listen for a change in idle and that should be your leak, if its a vac leak problem. As for the dull sound when letting of the gas, I would think thats a engine or tranny mount issue. Also make sure the pitch stopper is connected.
  7. You're just getting scared cause you know its gonna smoke your rump roast when its done
  8. Thanks, I love it too. When its running Oh, and I have some stuff upcoming. Still gathering parts/goodies
  9. It broked! See the shiny spring on the bottom? Look at the metal that surrounds it, its missing a piece on the outer edge. Whenever I pushed the clutch in, the spring would push out and it the flywheel. It made it real hard to get into gear too.
  10. BAH! If its not one thing, its another Stupid manf defect
  11. The EA82T takes 4. A black, a red and 2 greens. They look like this... I have almost a couple dozen, let me know if you would like all 4. I also have lots of parts, altho shipping might get pricey going East depending upon size.
  12. They look like these. http://www.amazon.com/SK-Hand-Tool-Female-External/dp/B002GZIZ3G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1254698774&sr=1-1-fkmr1
  13. Check the fusible links, located in a small rectangular black box connected to the radiator recovery tank. Its possible that someone replaced them with something thats not correct or that they just might be old and weak.
  14. I forgot to mention the deep E10 socket. And I never had a problem with the ring gear bolts hanging up with my install. Some of the 3.9 housings dont even need to be ground, at least mine didnt.
  15. MSD FTW! I've had a few Accel coils fail on me
  16. The hardest part is getting the ring gear bolts broken loose, they are a pita. Should take about a hour to do the job, but thats not including install. Heres the links I found, one with pics. They are in the USRM. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=49919 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66430

  18. So the XT6 flywheel is a direct bolt up to a EJ? N/M....I just read the PDF.
  19. I think it was 83 and it had to be a AT to have vented rotors.
  20. You might be better off converting them to standard struts. Trying to get the air system to work again is a real pita.
