The EA82T takes 4. A black, a red and 2 greens. They look like this... I have almost a couple dozen, let me know if you would like all 4. I also have lots of parts, altho shipping might get pricey going East depending upon size. -

Help! :: GL-10 Wagon Electrical Gremlins
Turbone replied to slminneman's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Check the fusible links, located in a small rectangular black box connected to the radiator recovery tank. Its possible that someone replaced them with something thats not correct or that they just might be old and weak. -

I forgot to mention the deep E10 socket. And I never had a problem with the ring gear bolts hanging up with my install. Some of the 3.9 housings dont even need to be ground, at least mine didnt. -
MSD FTW! I've had a few Accel coils fail on me

The hardest part is getting the ring gear bolts broken loose, they are a pita. Should take about a hour to do the job, but thats not including install. Heres the links I found, one with pics. They are in the USRM. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=49919 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66430 -

EA81 vented rotors..first year
Turbone replied to hatchsub's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I think it was 83 and it had to be a AT to have vented rotors. -
You might be better off converting them to standard struts. Trying to get the air system to work again is a real pita.

You guys got it all wrong. Look under the passenger seat

Welcome to the board. Saw that for sale on CL, looked like a good deal. And you might want to register over at http://subaruxt.com also. You will a ton of info there.

Very minor. I was told it hardly smokes any more. It was probably some blow by caused by 2 dyno sessions in one week But my upgrade is under my canopy as we speak
-
Actually, by putting a 5 or 6spd in, its dropping weight. The 4EAT is one heavy SOB. And I cant believe thats the only reason you dont have one
-
Dont tell that to the guys that are racing them!
-
How old are the tophats? Might want to check the engine mounts also.

Was that one of the ones that Huck made? I still have one, but it hasnt been "fixed" yet. N/M, I just read your post over on the XT board. All the EA hitches I've seen dont bolt to the frame rails. They go thru the storage pan and bumper.
