  1. In the FSM, it looks like theres a couple of screws that come up from underneath. Maybe if you take out the glovebox you can spot them.
  2. So, you think your going to have "it" ready in time?
  3. Nothing fancy, the light bar would be a big plus. I have a buddy that took the mesh used for concrete slabs and made a nice one. But I think a bar would need to be welded to the front for a light bar.
  4. Legacy or Impreza front struts work. You will need just stock EA82 (85-93) shocks for the rear. If you really want to mess with it and try to fix it, go here... http://subaruxt.com/forum/search.php?fid Then search for air suspension.
  5. Yup, thats the one. Thanks.
  6. I'm uber jealous of all the space^^^ Jibs has/had a Brat with tube doors. The pics are no longer hosted, but someone might have some stashed. Pics were taken at WCSS7(?).
  7. I would like to check out the Airshow again, its been several years. Might drop in to see the new Shop. Make it Fri for me.
  8. It looks like he removed the shocks/struts. Bob Barci's Hatch is a beautiful example.
  9. Thats definitely a good sign. Even here in the PNW that area of the fenders is usually the first to rust out.
  10. Buy a decent gear puller, they arent that much. Save alot of hassle down the road. Buying tools is a investment. That reasoning has always worked for me :-p
  11. No on both counts. If I need to remove one in the JY, I just beat on the end of the shaft till it breaks loose. I'm pretty sure they dont interchange either.
  12. The EA82's are a pita to get off, nothing like the EA81's. You will need a gear puller. I used a cheapo on one in a wrecking yard and it just bent the tool all up. Best way to get them off in the wrecking yard is with a hammer
  13. THAT is a awesome build Thanks for sharing it.
  14. Ahh, I forgot it was only disc in the front :-\ You need to change that
  15. Keep asking, and I will turn the PLANE around When Connie was here, she cooked up some killer chili. I believe that was right before she left........she didnt want to suffer the after affects. I seem to recall someone doing some bodywork on someones car when they were here Bad rotors on her new car, they've turned them once already. She said if they dont replace them, she will get aftermarket rotors. It would take maybe a hour to do all 4. Just over 3 weeks to go!
  16. Here's something else I also discovered. If the seats have alot of adjustments to them, they might turn out to be to tall. The Mazda seats I got were both to tall, especially the drivers seat. So make sure before you pull them out of the donor to see how far off the floor they are mounted. If they are almost on the floor, its a good chance they will be to tall for a Subaru.
