  1. Well, I didnt get a chance to read that before I left PI. The weather was perfect there. Cloudy, not to hot or humid. No moose encounters It was great meeting up with you. Unfortunately the time flew and midnight hit and I turned into a pumpkin:confused: (Wallys closed at 12:rolleyes:) I sure hope you can make it. I hit rain in Portland and it just got worse the further south I went. By the time I got to Mass. it was a friggin monsoon.......just like home! Hydroplaning at 70mph in the dark, woohoo! Theres no way you can blame this on me, it was crappy before I flew out:-p I'm sitting here in front of Seahags little restaurant - its 4:30am. Time for a nap.
  2. Heading NE this morning. So far I have about 400mi on the odo, with more to go. Traffic outside of Boston reminded me of Seattle Really liking the country up here tho.
  3. Yes, the main reason for this trip was to go to Mars Hill, Maine. Its where my Dads side of the family is from and they have a cemetery there, with a plot for my Dad. I need to put the dates on it :-\ And of course I couldnt come all the way out here and not visit folks.
  4. $#&^%$%$*^(^&&&&( *********** Thank you US Air for leaving my bag in Seattle instead of putting it on the plane with me. I'm sitting here in Hartford, waiting for good news. Hoping my bag is on the next flight in, which of course doesnt get here till 2:30pm:mad: I cant leave without it, it has important papers in it, not to mention all the clothes I need. My Sis has got me a motel room in Newport, Maine to crash at tonight. It sure puts my plans in a bind.
  5. No rivets. There are plastic tabs on the trim that pop thru the metal. Can be a pita to remove :-\
  6. Do they open when you hit the high beams? Pretty sure it might be part of the circuit too.
  7. Hmmm, kinda like the look.

Hatch's float pretty good. Just seal up most of the belly and get some big balloon tires. I wasnt touching ground when I was in the deepest part of this pond. My tires were acting as paddles and I was moving about a inch-2sec. After about 8ft' date=' I finally got contact with mud and pulled out. 10. The best fix is to replace it with a newer (96+) 4EAT. The problems with the overheating and weak valves were corrected. Some people have tried flushing them, with mixed results. Sometimes the bands can be tightened, which helps for a little bit but they eventually totally fail. If you want to do some reading on it, go over to http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=30&f=5 and search for 4EAT transmission. Get ready for alot of reading
  11. I think 70deg is hot, lol
  12. Hey, make sure your around when I swing thru on the 23rd or 24th.
  13. Check the firewall where the cables come thru. I know I had this problem once when one of the plugs popped out for the speedo cable.
  14. Not to many rigs without lifts make it all the way up 311. Years ago it was possible, but the last 4-5yrs has been tough on the trail. I made it up a few times last year, but my Hatch is over built.
  15. I only drink NA beer. I dont know if I'll be able to find any, seeing how I'm not familiar with the area. But if someone could pick up a 6 pack of St. Pauli NA for me, I will pay you back.
  16. Last time I tried the entrance to 311, I almost rolled my Hatch. And it was dry!
  17. My first lifted Subaru. Up at Rieter several years back. Up at Rieter again. I always get a kick out of this pic.
  18. We need to find a treatment plan for you And I thought I was bad
  19. Geez, I've given you enough hints
  20. Umm, dont think so. They are quite different and may even have different harness's.
  21. If a thread like that gets posted here, just hit "Report Post" symbol and ask a Mod to move it. I've done that a few times now and it works pretty quickly.
