Do they open when you hit the high beams? Pretty sure it might be part of the circuit too.

This would be your best option... http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=50869&highlight=What+transmission%3F Also more info... http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=37299&highlight=direct+swap+transmission%3F -
Hatch's float pretty good. Just seal up most of the belly and get some big balloon tires. I wasnt touching ground when I was in the deepest part of this pond. My tires were acting as paddles and I was moving about a inch-2sec. After about 8ft' date=' I finally got contact with mud and pulled out. The best fix is to replace it with a newer (96+) 4EAT. The problems with the overheating and weak valves were corrected. Some people have tried flushing them, with mixed results. Sometimes the bands can be tightened, which helps for a little bit but they eventually totally fail. If you want to do some reading on it, go over to http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=30&f=5 and search for 4EAT transmission. Get ready for alot of reading -
I think 70deg is hot, lol

Check the firewall where the cables come thru. I know I had this problem once when one of the plugs popped out for the speedo cable. -
My first lifted Subaru. Up at Rieter several years back. Up at Rieter again. I always get a kick out of this pic.

Geez, I've given you enough hints

Umm, dont think so. They are quite different and may even have different harness's.

If a thread like that gets posted here, just hit "Report Post" symbol and ask a Mod to move it. I've done that a few times now and it works pretty quickly.

Turbone replied to Sparkystours59's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
The mechanic has a cracked block :-\ Sound to me it needs a new radiator. Heck of alot cheaper than a new block. -
whats the flow rate of turbo injectors?
Turbone replied to Niku-Sama's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
They arent pink, they are brown. Bad lighting The typical EA82 injector uses a short hose from the fuel rail to the injector also. -
All the PCV hoses still connected? Had something like this happen to me when I crossed some hoses on a carbed EA82. My wife was behind me and she thought I was on fire.
