Couple questions...2 rear shock mounts ...................check 2 triangular mushtash bar blocks....check 2 engine blocks...........................check 2 frount strut blocks....................check 2 other blocks.....? 1. Are the transmission mount lowering blocks? 2. Are there blocks for the other rear mounts on the mustash (crossmember) bar? 3. Are there blocks to go betwine the transverse link (control arm) and leading rod or betwine the leading rod mount and the body? 4. Are there center bearing mount lowering blocks? if not , Is the Differential angle important to U-joint life? Thanks Dave

rear u-joint
I had a 79 yota once , and the whole car vibrated and roared, I tried everything, in the end it was a bad carrier bearing. (i.e drive shaft center bearing). Do carrier bearings go bad in EA82's often?

legal offroading spots
4 wheeler magazine had an artical couple years ago about Senic unpaved highways and trails. The artical had a map of trails accross the US. some of the trails were 4wd only and were legal and if you go on them certin times of the year they can be a challange.

LOL yep I forget I'm driving a normal car sometimes I had my new Off road lights on and it was a curvy dirt and gravel road, I guess I went "rally" on it;) I can only emagin the damage thos rally drivers would suffer if they hit a deer at 80 or 90 MPH

well, all vac lines look OK . However I noticed a voltage drop as the car dies. Maybe an electricl problem??? One of my childhood Bus related traumas involved "chain reaction projectile vomiting" ever tried to walk from the back of the bus through vomit soaked floors and seats:D

Steering probs in snow...
Yep! he's from North Carolina NC, 3rd state in RedNeck engineering My buddy once put a brake fire out with beer,, it was the most avaible fluid at the time. I think he was considering peeing on it befor wasting the beer ,but I think the thought of fire and an open fly was to scary

Hi All
Greetings and salutations,,, (Howdy) "muchy" brakes also could be due to a vac leak, 2nd, to air in the line. Might also want to check your rear drum brake cylinders for leaking. Due to the alore of off roading that a subaru offers,,, sometimes muck, sand and rust can acumulate in the brake drum area I remmeber my old FJ-40 landcruiser had mushy brakes and it had drum brakes all around with 2 brake cylinders per a wheel. I remmember on day cruising along a came around a curve and there was a stop sign and a 4 lane highway intersecting it. I hit the brakes as hard as I could and drifted accross all 4 lanes of traffic with my eyes shut , I was sure I was dead. but it got to the other side and it slowed down finaly.. the next week I honed and rebuilt all the wheel cylinders, replaced the brake shoes and turned the drums:rolleyes: I had the smarts scared into me!
