  1. Well, If I could vote I would vote for this one by (singletrack) I know it does'nt show alot of 4 wheeln activity , but the composition is moving
  2. Ok So the Huricane washed out the roads by the lake in my Neighborhood and they were blocked off, so i had to go down and take the dirt path around the lake, well it was very messy! I felt kinda safe sence I had a big dodge 4x4 ram following me.. Well anyway,I get to this one spot where its just black, deep, muck! So I go for it,,, my subee sinks down deep! I can feel the motor strain, but it keeps going, water is comming in the door, over the hood, but I make it through! yeah! Well here's the funny part,,, The guy, with the big Dodge ram,, well he gets afraid to follow me and backs up and truns around! (must have really looks bad from the back) well I get near the end of the path and there's a tree down across the road. I tried to pull it out of the way but the strap broke. Not to be defeted, I pull out my "rambo" knife and start hacking away. well after about 20minuts I manage to hack my way through a 7" inch trunk . then i could move the tree. well it wasn't a short cut, but it was darn fun! My little subee has no lift, and it still ROCKs! Had to drain the tool box:rolleyes:
  3. I sure could use one down here today. Al the roads are flooded due to the hurricane:brow: imagin crusin in you 6" lifted sube with the snorkle.
  4. Drive it down her to the beach in Southport NC ,,, there will be plenty of work for you after the huricane;) and then sale it to me:D
  5. Go to Home Depot or Lowe's and browse the Wet/Dry vac area.. you will see extintion tubes and Flex pipes that may meet your needs. Just a thought .
  6. Must be some sort of subaru sickness,,, "Hey! I got an idea! let's see how much weight we can stuff in our Subee befor ithe tires pop!:brow:"
  7. HOLY COW IT"S REAL!!!! No I feel really shamed ,, That i would findmyself doing something simular to what this couple did..... well,,, at least I didnt put the tile on top of the car
  8. Wounder if Subaru got their idea for the BAJA from looking at your mod,
  9. I saw a AC dryer on ebay for 10 bucks,,, and it seems to me that that would work fine considering that is what it was designed for, to remove the oil and water vapor:confused:
  10. nice picture,,, how did you cut the finders?
  11. Yeah Fort fisher is cool drive right out there and fish from your car
  12. thats intersting because my dad has an old merceties and you can hear the fuel pump in it. Turns out there are two pumps in his car, one in the fuel tank and one on the line.. and if one goes bad its hard to diagnose because it gives the wrong error codes.
  13. LOL seems I may be using the word "FIT" losely LOL:lol:
  14. OK I'm in. I will be sending payment through PayPal to: Malarkey2@AOL.com ---- correct? EA82 moderate lift: $320.00 ---- correct? Shipping: $14.00 ---- correct? total: $334.00 ---correct?
  15. I did that adjustment with my 86 wagon,,, and it gave it nearly a 2 inch lift,,, however, now,, when my wheel drops down into a rut or I go over a speed bump and the strut expands fast and it bottoms out and makes a horrible "CLUNK" this may be due to the fact they are Monroe replacement struts. Anyway im thinking about , when install my lift kit, adjusting them back down and hopefuly the struts wont "clank" anymore
  16. Yes completely nuts But thats how good ideas start. Actually a propane conversion is very doable and is exilant for cold starts. But the diesel,,,, well,I emagin with the right CAM ,ECU , glowplug setup, intake, injectors and pistons it would work out,, but your talking about custom machined parts and hit and miss expeirminting . the cost would be amazing You might find one in Japan check out this thread http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=34141&page=1&pp=10
  17. Ok , I am very intrested in the EA82 4" moderate lift kit. I'm sure this has been asked befor but I cant seem to find it. 1. After recieving payment, how long befor you ship the kit? 2. what would shipping cost to NC 28461 be? 3. do you know if a 235/75-15 tire will fit on a GL wagon after the lift? Thanks, Dave
  18. I have the same problem. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the reflrector or housing (reflective casing around the bulb) is faulty. It may look fine however if you get really close you can see that (in my case) the surface has become somewhat dull and the reflective crome has browned incomparison to a new reflecter. (especialy true if the car resides in a humid inviroment) (not to mention the hazing or yellowing of the lens cover it self) All of this takes a huge chunk out of your bulbs compasity to project light. (as much as 40% decrease or more in light projection) AND not to mention the color of the light any light that is yellowed by the reflector and the lens will always seem dimmer. One of the best sulutions is a new light housing. Just my two cents anyway.
