Pictures of my TWB fab bumpers on the wagon.

Featured Replies

Soobme did me up some *very* custom bumpers. With a bit of input from him, and some from myself, we came up with a unique design, and he implemented it quite well. I am very pleased. The quality of the work, and the attention to detail is without question some of the best I've seen. He tells me that he will be getting a bender up and running here shortly.... you should all RUN - don't walk - to get a new set of bumpers from him. This is his first Subaru swing out tire rack.... I'll let the pictures tell the story.....

Well - I was thinking about using it for the wagon, but then the bumper woudn't match the grill angle and such anymore..... looks like I'll have to get a hatch to put those on!

nice job!!!!!!!did i hear u say for the front guard free +shipping?:D

Ask soobme about pricing - he's quite reasonable. My front bumper was $100, and the rear was $160. Now of course I picked mine up because he's only about 300 miles from me, but shipping isn't as bad as you think.

I also gotta give a shout out to TWB as well. I went and met GD at Tony's where i picked up my front Bumper/Brushguard:

And here's a pic of me and my Sube, this is a pic GD took.

TWB also made the roof rack for my car. The best part is that I got to help design the item's. Used PhotoShop to draw up some idea's, and Tony was eager to make it.

Looks sweet, but how is the visibility backing up with that tire there??? (Will it hurt you on the trail if you have no way to turn around

Still looks sweet though :D

FAB is right! those are nice... make me want to spend money I don't have on a car the bank still owns :D

I love my TWB bumpers, however your rear bumper is making me jealous, but i'm getting a roof rack that will take care of my spare tire problem, the rack is from TWB of course!!

I'd love to see you try and open the hatch in a downtown parking spot! :D But who takes a car like that to the city? Pretty sick to say the least :brow:

i wonder if tony still has the plans for my set-up still laid out in his head......(gotta be there somewhere amidst all other projects)

he does killer work, and i've liked everyones projects he has made so far. can't wait till i get my TWB bumpers!!:D

Actually, I drive it downtown all the time. I drive it to school. Parking is no prob cause I have power steering. People give me the craziest looks. Especially since I'm a running straight pipe.

hey Tony.. have you thought about producing rear differential protectors and reinforced rear differential mustache bars?

Hey those bumpers look great, better now they are painted, also like the way you painted behind the bumpers for the shadow look. I was wondering what that would look like when i was going for the same look.:headbang:

I have thought of the dif. hangers, and they can be made to sute ANY lift, without the use of spacer blocks;)

Yeah - I think I'll just go ahead and paint the rocker covers all the way down the car. Black down there makes it recede into the background. Helps the wagon to look taller than it really is.....

GD

Cool i have done the same thing:D you saw, it does look cooler black:brow:

-Sean

Hows that brushguard comming along Sean? Tony, mark me down for a re-enforced diff hanger and skid plate. Not sure when my next trip up will be, but i think thats all i need now :)

Looks sweet.:D I'd like to get something like that made up for my 79...one of these days.

  • Author

He can totally make you some for your 79! There's even some cars around down there that he could pattern it off. One of the reasons I had TWB do mine is because he was willing to go find a 2WD wagon to pattern the bumpers on. My car was originally 2WD, and thus the bumper mounts are completely different.....
