Skid plates design

Featured Replies

working on a skid plate design, it will be aluminum router cut and CNC press bent, the plate will be bigger then stock and offer more protection ,theres so many options I want 1 plate to cover them all but thats not possible, what do you want?? , I want to offer

stock EA81

stock EA82

3-4" lifted EA81 and EA82

lifted and non lifted to fit the EJ swap cars,

i would be interested in EA81 for 85 Brat with 4 inch lift. Are you going to allow access to the oil drain plug, and oil filter?

that would be Ideal, at least the drain plug

somehow create a "hole with reinforcement collar" on the plate and thru the hole you could get a socket extension to reach the drain plug straight on.

Depending on price and my fundage when the parts are ready, I'd be interested in lifted and stock EA81 plates.

unlifted EA82 with EJ22 and borla headers for me! I'd be happy to take some pictures and measurements of said headers too.

Scott, I have an adjustable idea drawn up for you, you going to be around tonight? Call me, or I will call you!

my 82 with 2inch lift. dont care if its pretty, would like your logo cut into it like the lift blocks for the struts. and dont want openings for drain and filter.

i rather drop the skid plate to do that every 3 months then not and drop a engine.

EA81 with EJ22 and 6inch SJR lift and EA81 with EA81 and 4inch SJR lift would be my choice skids. Possibly also an EA82 with EJ22 and SJR 3inch lift.

well, i ended up using the stock skid plate, with a fabb'd cross bar welded to front of the plate, and rear slightly bent. rear attached like stock, front welded bar attaches to the front pushbar lower bracket via bolts. all this on a 4" lift brat.

I'd be interested in an ea82 w/ej22 motor swap, unlifted, as well.

Any update on this? I'm looking for a skidplate Ea81 4inch lift. Anyone else have ideas? I've heard of using a tachoma skid plate

Bump? should i make my own thread asking about EA81 w/4inch lift skidplates?
