  1. Also came back to my STi exhaust being free and I just had to pay for the flange to be made to fit my cat. Plus I knew I wouldn't be keeping the car long. Wish someone would buy it.
  2. Nipper, I am FULLY aware of the crappy quality of auto parts items. He has already ordered the alternator. Why not be a little more optimistic? My multiple Auto Zone CV axle, brake rotor, thermostat, and clutch cable failures are a true testament to that.
  3. I've heard a ton of 2.5RS's with those headers and they don't sound near as good as your Legacy does. My reason for not putting them on my RS I was worried about it sounding raspy with my stock STi catback. I've got the GR-2's on my Outback as well.
  4. Welcome. I took a business trip to Denver last year and fell in love with the area. I plan to retire to Colorado someday.
  5. I'm loving it. Same color as my old BRAT I sold a couple years ago. You may want to put the camper back on. It kept my BRAT SOOO much cooler in the summer months. Need MOAR pictures.
  6. Gonna try and run a town over and pick one up in the morning. This look good? I have zero experience with master cylinders, have replaced both master and slaves on a clutch before though. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Brake-Master-Cylinder-Cardone_18350084-P_230_R|GRPBRHYAMS_727891357___
  7. Also did the brake booster check. About the 4th pump the brake pedal was very firm and sank a little lower once the car was started. Least that ain't broke.
  8. Just to ask a few last questions for my sake. Doesn't sound like air in the lines or ABS unit? How do I go about changing this thing?
  9. I'm sorry to offend. But you're English confuses the crap out of me.
  10. Tom, you got a video of what it sounds like with the headers?
  11. 95 Outback, 158k. Stops great, no fluid leaking anywhere. If I stand on the brake pedal at startup it will be fine then about 3 seconds later it sink down lower. I did get an ABS light come on earlier where I had an idiot abruptly stop in front of me. The light went off when I restarted the car. Brakes needing bled?
  12. Pretty sure your Legacy is OBD2. Check on the dash below the steering wheel and you should see one of these behind a flap cover.
  13. Connie, I was wondering what happened to you.
  14. $100 is all I'd offer just to have the camper top and tail lights.
  15. Stock housings just used these bulbs:
  16. Update. I looked up and saw the 2 10mm bolts that hold it to the bumper. Super easy to change compared to my RS fog lights. Thanks guys.
  17. Added Hella Optilux XY yellow fogs tonight
  18. Ok. Went and looked at the underside of my Outback. Are the shroud covers bolted on to the lower engine bay sheet metal that is directly beneath the valve covers?
  19. Nothing that I did to the RS made me not like it. It and I never did really click. I needed a daily driver that looked aggressive and would make a good platform to build upon. I love the look of the car. Just never fell in love with it like I did with the BRAT and Hatch.
