  1. Tom (TheLoyale) has been helping me with this but I figured it was never a bad idea to get more opinions. I was wondering if I could use the map light assembly out of my 91 on the 95 Outback since the 95 did not come with map lights, for whatever reason.

Wow, that thing is clean! Post some interior shots.
  3. If you haven't replaced it yet, I would get you an OEM clutch cable and do it while you have it apart. They make a world of difference.
  4. TireRack will also tell you OEM tire sizes. You just have to plug in what year and model the wheels came from. https://www.tirerack.com/
  5. I have one and when my check engine light in my outback came on I was able to pull the code going down the road. I grew tired of Advance arguing with me that my 95 Outback was not OBDII. Told them I was not going to waste my time nor theirs if I wasn't right.
  6. What site is everyone using now for the vin checker? The lincoln dealer one I was using no longer works. Edit: I searched the rest of the lincoln dealer URL and found a message board with this URL listed. Works just fine: http://www.getvin.com/

  8. If you have an android based phone, I suggest you pick up one of these and get the Torque app. http://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products-Bluetooth-diagnostics-compatible/dp/B005NLQAHS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1349279242&sr=8-1&keywords=obd+ii+bluetooth
  9. If you pump the pedal with the car off, does the pedal eventually firm up?
  10. Title sums it up. If I want to change the fan direction in my Outback, I have to give the dash a smack and the direction will change. How can I fix this?
  11. I thought you were drunk taking a leak.
  12. I'm with Wally. I would gladly pay someone who is experienced to replace my windshield. Being my luck, first rain storm I get the floor board would be full of water.
  13. Would be really tough for me to go to an 05 Legacy with the EJ25. You could always find a set of low mileage heads for that thing.
  14. Write down the code and post it for us to troubleshoot.
  15. When you see water coming out of the other hose and not coolant. I will do about 2 or 3 minutes per hose.
  16. I want this in 1080p!
  17. I learned something. I got on my RSD wholesale account and read the description of their clutch. http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Exedy-OEM-Replacement-Clutch-Subaru-Models-inc-2006-2011-WRX-2005-2009-Legacy-GT Says: " 2005-2009 Legacy GT requires the use of a 2006-2007 WRX flywheel for proper fitment."
  18. My RS hated the AC too. Luckily, it had a sunroof that when you crack it open an inch pulled a ton of air straight in.
  19. I had luck replacing a faulty radiator cap after flushing heater core. Used a tappered fitting used to repair a garden hose. Fits right in a heater core line.
  20. I got faith you can get this straightened out man. Lot of good guys on here with valuable knowledge and experience.
