You need goldies on that thing, wanna talk looking amazing rolling down the road. Jason, make sure to upload some good pictures of this monster.
  2. Where did you find that knob? I had that same sticker/insignia on a keychain many years ago.

What happened? Did you have a wreck?
  4. The only time I run with the AC on is when I have my little boy or passengers with me. Chalk it up to many years in a non-AC hatch and BRAT.
  5. For future reference: you can remove the hood prop and move it to a spot on the strut tower passenger side and you can prop the hood up fully without using a bungee cord.
  6. Drove this thing to Florida on Saturday. Got around 27 mpg loaded completely down and AC on.
  7. Bingo. Confirm the timing belt has been changed is the big thing. Bring you a creeper to the lot and shimmy under it.
  8. On the WRX/STi's there is a drain hose that comes out of the firewall right above the passenger's foot well. It may be the same as yours. Make sure the hose doesn't have a hole in it or something.
  9. Sounds good. Probably about level with my STi at idle.
  10. I like those yellow fogs. Did you modify the JDM headlights so they don't shine into the oncoming traffic?
  11. Not a fan of that wing either but I would love to see a video to hear that exhaust.
  12. Wow Tom, that carpet looks amazing.
  13. Yeah man http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=81
  14. I sent mick a pm for it to get moved.
  15. Oh man, I love the tails on this thing. Did wonders for the car. I traded dude the factory rear sway bar from my STi plus the stockers. We traded in the walmart parking lot. It was a PITA.
  16. Have not done an update in a long time. Traded with a guy and got JDM wagon tails My WRX headunit finally died, sourced another one from another friend and put it back in. Put new rear rotors on Sunday. The ones on it were the factory ones. Made in Japan and sent over here to Indiana. They were shot. Got the new ones on and the car did not want to move, acting like the parking brake was on. My father in law and I took them back off and got a wire brush and scraped a TON of rust off the 6 o'clock position of the assembly that contains the parking brake mechanism. We got it to roll again but it makes some rubbing noise. No brakes are dragging and is not affecting driveability. Just makes noise like a bad wheel bearing when making turns. Figured it would eventually wear down. We are taking it to Florida on Saturday. Looking forward to the drive.
  17. They would lower it but s techs are known to destroy struts. Well, with wrx's anyway.
  18. Really not sure what you posted or asked. So I will take a stab at it. "Your friend came over to help you replace the crank seal. Crank seal was fine and dry. You are still trying to figure out where your oil leak is coming from."
  19. Looks good with the 06/07 wheels.
  20. I agree with you 100%. I have one in my 95 Outback.
  21. I put rear WRX seats in my RS coupe and I remember it being a huge PITA.
  22. What all was involved in putting the rear wrx wagon seats in? Do they still lay flat?

    What a great thread.
  24. MAF sensor will be right after the air box in the intake tube. Really, your stock air box already pulls cold air from the fender.
