  1. I love you. I do have an immaculate cargo cover for a first gen legacy. I assume since it has the cut outs for the rear speakers. The one that is broken is for a gen 2. I got them both for free so I'm still in the green. I am toying with the idea of retrofitting the part over.
  2. The part on the cargo cover that fits into the notch on the rear of the hatch when full extended has broken off. Does anyone have a suggestion for repairing this so it would fit into that point again. Thanks.
  3. You can find those security bits at some hardware stores. I found mine at the big lots. I applaud you for wanting to change the 95 steering wheel as I too, think it is goofy feeling and would love to swap it.
  4. Gosh, this is from a long time ago. I think mine ended up being a failing alternator at the time.
  5. You can get a valve cover gasket set from Felpro that has those spark plug gaskets with it. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Valve-Cover-Gasket-Set-Felpro_15780704-P_107_R|GRPGASKAMS_____
  6. That is a new one to me. I would have figured they would have been a direct swap in. I have an 03 WRX seat in my 95 and it was a straight job aside from the buckle.
  7. The local Subaru dealer(s) had a silver one in yesterday. I would like to test drive one but don't see myself having one as a daily driver. Hard to do much baby hauling in a coupe like that.
  8. They're all the same, minus the colored condom. The bulbs have been used for years. I've changed bulbs in my 95 Outback all the way to my 05 STi and they're still the same bulb. If I spent $20 bucks on bulbs that small, I would want someone to kick me in the face. $1.99 for a pack of two. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103780
  9. The bulbs are not Subaru specific, you can get them at Radioshack.
  10. Jeeze. I paid less than that for my 95 Outback. Sure is in damn fine shape though.
  11. How am I just now seeing this thread?! I need MOAR pics.
  12. Wow, that thing is immaculate. Looks to had a pretty clean engine bay too until the motor decided to commit seppuku. You should turn this into your build thread and document the motor removal and replacement with lots of pics.
  13. Just want to add that my 95 Outback is missing its tow hooks too.
  14. Bingo. Just don't use too much force. My Grandmother broke the hinges on hers.
  15. That thing looks to have survived the dust bowl.
  16. Even the STi is rare. That is an 04 model and only a limited number were made in aspen white.
  17. A local Subaru club member saw this go through Knoxville today. I would have nearly wrecked seeing this on the interstate.
  18. I used a craftsman dog bone wrench before I got air tools. Picture shown is standard. I found the easiest way is just to impact them off. Make sure the spring is compressed first. You also need to pay close attention to the way the conical washer comes off. Here is the walkthrough to do them on an STi and they are extremely similar. http://www.iwsti.com/forums/how-install/85672-complete-idiots-guide-spring-installation.html
