  1. We have bear wrestlers here. No worries. Enjoy!
  2. And the store kits are not complicated. At least one will have a "stop leak" , not going to hurt anything to use that. Can only help for an old Subaru. My a/c works great now. But if you have the opportunity to balance it out properly that's a plus. You'll need the manifold kit , not just the 2 can deal , you'll see. But follow directions and you'll be fine.
  3. Store kits work well. Follow instructions. And you're sure the blend lever is working and is towards blue(cold). Very sorry to ask publicly but it's happened before.
  4. Yeah I think I got him on the book. He's all set. Thanks. Moderator - delete !
  5. Sorry to post here but Greyhound is looking for you to pick up the two big boxes down at their terminal. Your number is not working.
  6. Sounds great Russ , but no need to address me. These post should be to all of us. But I know what you mean since it's obvious I'm cleaning house big time. I sure will check for you. One great deal going is that I catch wifi at storage so I can check this list easily enough. The thrifty way.
  7. Can't use pic from site but check link please. Sorry , I edited this post - check Classic Subaru Network or Old School Subaru on face book. Mostly testing to see how well a face book photo will show/post up. Make an offer if you you desire. PM or moosens at yahoo
  8. Sorry to direct anyone from this board but until I get a pic host deal going I'm using the super easy phone method. Stage I automatic shift base old lady car 56k 4wd and 4spd shift boots for 77-79 and to 81Brat NOS metal centercaps either late 70's early 80's Wagon Tail Lights - pieces -77-79 stage II used Stage I steering wheel cover E brake coves Window cranks More.... I'll get pics up soon but for sure check face dook. Not a fan but it's helpful at the moment. Cheers!
  9. Among my stuff: An ff-1 windshield gasket Front and rear RIGHT side door seals marked as 77 Stage II thru 79 sedan. I can't recall right now but isn't the sedan a larger opening than the wagon? Wagon has more raked pillar ? Typing without doing the looksee first, sorry. But if that's the case then maybe sedans can be cut to fit the wagons. I don't have a lot of time for this project but if someone knows about cost per mold and production maybe these can be copied , maybe reverse mold for left side ? I have no idea how costly that is these days. I would think its cheaper and easier given technology versus when they were produced. Fire away!
  10. Hey I need some parts to sell on eBay. What have you got? Lol Man I hope your purge is going better than mine.
  11. Bump for general consideration. Saturday is interrupted but I might pull an afternoon into evening session. Early morning session possible too but done by 10:00. Sunday not sure but if folks reply here that are serious I will devote the time and I could be there from early morning until 3pm
  12. Ok here's the deal in a nutshell. I have a storage unit I need to blow through and have lots of Gen I , and basically '72-79 wealth. If you please just kindly update your old post or create a new one I will have a much easier time of pairing up parts to people. So , please don't reply here with a list but I do encourage a friendly bump to the top as springtime rolls into summer. Thanks very much for your consideration !! And keep in mind the reason for that sticky post thread is for all of us to be able to help any one of us while at a boneyard , etc.. I know it's not popular to be considerate here in the USA anymore but the old Karma cycle works like magic. Try it. Cheers !
  13. Well don't wait for me but I sure will try to dig out my last batch of nos head gaskets. Maybe SubieGal or someone else has them too. Not so many left that I see. Felpro ?
  14. Sorry for lack of link. Check the Classic Subaru Network and scroll down and find my vintage Subaru items with easily loaded pics. Just a nudge at the board or the board vendor. I sure would like to just add my pics here and deal here. Meanwhile enjoy what we have!! I'm cleaning house like I've threatened to do for all too long. Made some shortened attempts , some more helpful than others , but this needs to be a major overhaul. And hopefully lots of solid sales. Cheers !!
  15. Cranks by hand well enough. Yes the intake was soaked. Or at least the air cleaner filter was soaked. The car was tilted passenger side down , about mid door depth. The driver side was just barely in the water but enough. I'll post pics as I can.
  16. Hey the dry out the cell phone post is over on Pintrest with a bunch of women. Lol But thanks. Rear diff I hadn't thought off. So um , you think this engine will run? It swallowed. I hand cranked it with the spark plugs out , that was cute. And drained the oil , hand cranking again. I'm letting it drip overnight. I put MMO in the spark holes before the second hand crank. Fuel tank may be an issue too. Somehow fuel leaked out into the water which was a large puddle about 2' deep or so. I don't have a garage and am doing this at my condo so it's really not cool to do major work. Regardless , tomorrow I need to drop the exhaust and drain it. I have the front Y pipes off the heads. Check the fuel tank and lines, rear diff, what else?
  17. Yeah I see several already plucked on eBay. One that was a perfect match too. I'm going to be a knucklehead and try mine first. I'm counting on this being a parts car and anything I might get beyond that is a dream.
  18. 252378869938 is the item number for a regular guy like us selling one he can't use now. I had a bid on it but asked him to retract it. My daily has a good new set and our other '92 isn't too bad but from experience we know they all wear out. Heavier the key ring the faster they wear.
  19. Its such a tight spot I'd need some special tiny iron. But yeah , that's parallel to idea number one above. Either use a wire to jump or solder that pin back down. But I'm thinking the base of the pin might have to be cleaned up a bit and that would be tricky.
  20. That was thought number one on my end. I'll have to double check but i'm pretty sure there is a wire for this pin.
  21. Sad to hear , but good for us to know. Thanks for posting the reason.
