  1. Interesting. Hood opens unlike an ff-1. That's a 2 cylinder engine , I think I saw. Early Rex? I can't speak for those since they aren't US market.
  2. The way the plane flys. Lol I've got to hustle back. Yes, would have been great. I'll be back out. I liked the drive a lot thru the hills. Down here in the flat lands - hot.
  3. Firstly , WOW for life up in the north end around Flagstaff and Sedona. May have changed my future as an aging knucklehead. From Albuquerque west on I-40 was just magnificent!! Hit rt. 89a down from Flagstaff and it was a memorable ride to say the least! Flagstaff and that area does hold many Subarus !! I'll be around Tempe until Wednesday. Will check back but moosens at yahoo might get me quicker and I'll pass along a cell. # Getting my son settled for college. Cheers !!
  4. Does this ea71 have a water duct external ?
  5. Yeah that one you have was online before. I remember it with those wheels. Small shop/dealer in Idaho. I spoke with them back a couple years or more. The other one you're talking about I'm not sure of. There are a couple uncracked dashboards around. And I'm absolutely wanting to get parts to people and put money into my family. I'm busy these next couple of weeks but I'll be listing stuff like mad really soon.
  6. Nice score! That was for sale in the PNW as I recall.
  7. Original from an old dealer stock. Not for sale at this time. Yes , I have many bits for early Subarus but this month I have no time. Make a list of needs and send it to me. Also , check out Facebook - I am not a big fan of it but there are older parts being exchanged by a few people these days. Old School Subaru Group And - Classic Subaru Network . Best of luck ! There's more out there than ever for vintage parts.
  8. Maybe those early 1800's too? But the 1800's generally start the next style of pilot bearings.
  9. Aww man you mean you want me to ship stuff ??? Yes , I ship stuff. Recent Colorado shipments were a vintage radio console for 77-79 and Gen I Brat , and a vintage high rise center console for early 80's. So maybe you're in a lucky state. I'm holding off on eBay these couple of weeks past but will be listing more very soon. But avoiding eBay fees is a big plus. So I suggest if you own a 70's car or Gen I Brat to make your Wish List post within that thread. With one centralized thread it is then much easier for me to match parts up with owners. You are also welcome to send that list to me and I will add it to my phone now that it's so easy to collect such info that way.
  10. Storage is hell right now. I have a lot going on right now but let me know what you are looking for and maybe we can connect soon and sweat a lot. Lol moosens at yahoo really works well. But for PM here just click on my board name and the rest should be easy. Cheers! Paul
  11. I'd trust a junkyard or board member's stock. Those rarely go bad from my history with 2.2's with 4EAT's. Ill be parting out a 96 2.2 with 4EAT very soon if somebody doesn't hook you up beforehand. Mine is the next generation and might not be the same as the 90-94's.
  12. Before the mfg date of maybe Oct 77 or so they used the U joint axles. That large skid plate was an option. I have one too somewhere in my stuff. You said it was welded but it wasn't originally. It bolts to the tranny crossmember and the iron 2x4 front end protector like on my 78. Good luck with it ! One sweet front bar and plate there. To me that's worth easily $250 right there. Cheers!
  13. There are people selling rust free or minimal rust rear "boxes". I know up here these 1995+++ , 2000++++ cars seem a lot worse than those previous for that rear box rot and rot in general. Hence the guys peddling solid boxes. Good luck with it.
  14. For your gen one Brat or 1972-79 sedan , wagon , and HT The Coupe is just a bit larger in the upper ears. Some folks have stretched the one in stock to make work on Coupes but no promises. If that's what you have - Coupe - then search threads or talk to Subaru3-Todd who has done it. I may need to correct this but the PRP item number should be WCR-288 Precision Replacement Parts Moderators - Sticky this ??
  15. Todd , This one is all yours. Nice that you have one in pieces. I do have a complete unit , or two. Not sure when I'll get them out.
  16. OK , I'm trying to get to that shelf soon. And I've got better and more Wheel pics , just need to get a few minutes to hunt them down and organize.
  17. Ok guys its been going ok on eBay. The face book thing , agh , some of you guys kind of reacted but still nothing really great happening there. Items to come out for sale soon will include fenders stage one and two. Wheels Uncracked dashboard (s)
  18. It does look bad at that left rear wheel arch but the rest to me says "save me!!!". I see the Country horn thing in the pic. Look at the pull switch and look at the backing plate or whatever the switch comes out of. And no I'm sorry but I don't think you'd have an easy time putting tha nose on a Brat. This body style ended the year before the Brat came.
  19. Straight front bumper and decent enough front valance. At the very least I'd expect a Stage I owner might want to adapt that face onto their squared light , squared bumper , butt ugly car.
  20. Just looked at the pics. Holy dook man !! From here that car is a keeper.
  21. You didn't see the switch that literally says " city/country" ??? It's real , not joking. Look closer.
