  1. Guard drill weekend:mad:. I sure will miss you guys!! On Sunday I'll be starting on the "Tour Da Kota" bike tour. Have a good time and remember to post pictures. Later, Tim
  2. My CCR EJ25 is going on 50k and not so much a tick out of place. Later, Tim
  3. Hey Tom, I got stuck with a bad GCK axle from AZ too. They were real good about replacing it. Gave me a Duralast life time warrenty axle and some money back from the price difference. The Duralast clicks once in awhile, but it has done good for about a year so I'm okay with it. Later, Tim
  4. I like your initiative, however a petition does not equal demand. I'd be glad to sign a petition, but I'm not very likely to purchase a gen 3 Brat. Tim
  5. First impresion, I like it. There is a thread on NABISCO and they have the Lego and a Lexus picture, just short of identical. Still better then the Impreza line. Tim
  6. I made my own axle puller. I'll see if I can find pics. Tim
  7. Would have been nice to have one last week when I hit a cinder block someone left on the road  I followed the damage all the way to the end of the muffler. Still nothing more then dents dings and scares and a bent heat shield Later, Tim
  8. Very glad to see you're still about. Is there someone next in line to pass the lift tourch too??? Later, Tim
  9. The total with shipping both ways (had to send the core back) was $369. That included both halfs and the carrier bearing.
  10. If your set on getting a new/remaned one I got mine from these guys and the deal was smooth. http://www.thrashdriveshaft.com/ Came with grease serks and changable U-joints. To bad it turned out to be a bad axle
  11. Just remember, the ones that don't make it can be taken quietly out of state to SD and sold to me for ridiculously low prices
  12. I just had to GY ATTs put on today along with an alignment. I took them part way through town and the rest of the way on the interstate. I didn't notice any discerable difference in road noise and they have what I would call a more "confident" feel on the road. Once I get a few miles on them I'll let you all know how they are doin. Oh, and if we get some more snow I'd like to see how they handle that. Later, tim
  13. Hey Noob, Try the search button it works wonders..... I always wanted to say that to someone
  14. Just an update. I just bought four GY ATTs from Tire Rack.com. Should be here in a week or so. The Subbie dealer hooked me up with a mounting deal. $10 a piece and that includes free rotation and flat repair. That should cover the documentation needed if the tyres don't make 80K. Later, tim
  15. I know this is an older thread, but seems like an appropriate place for this post. We have 13,3xx on our 08 Outback and the rear Potenzas are SHOT!! less then 3/32nds left on them. I have an appointment on Monday at the Bridgstone dealer to see if they are going to do anything for us. I have a funny feeling I will be putting GY ATT on in a couple of days. Absolutely SUCKS to have to spend somewhere in the $700 range because of crappy Bridgstones:mad::mad: Thanks for letting me vent, Tim
  16. Seems like alot of work for a "dusting" of snow :grin:
  17. I don't think a T-shirt you made with a permanent marker count
  18. I've had a rebuilt motor take several days to quiet down. Just a thought, maybe give it a little more time?? Tim
  19. After two years with out getting a title it might be sooner then you think .
  20. Just for you Brian........ http://s363.photobucket.com/albums/oo73/chef_tim/DRTYGRL/
  21. Kind of a sad day for us, but DRTYGRL went home with 7point62fmj last night. I think she will be happy in her new home, getting used and having kids to ride in her. Very nice to meet her new family too. Later, Tim
  22. I'm not sure how I let this thread get by !! That thing is AWESOME!!! Can't wait to see this in person. Later, Tim
  23. IIRC one of the bolts goes all the way through and that one needs to come out. The other one, I think is a stud, and the starter can stay conected to the bellhousing on that side. Later, Tim
