  1. and while you're at it, with front left wheel jacked up, and fwd fuse in, have it "drive" so you can see what it is doing are your balls dry in the axle?
  2. ttowwoop! looks like wou paid $300 extra need details
  3. if you want to switch intake manifolds, and put the weber on the ea82 manifold, you will be better off, as you use the same top rad hose water pump can be switched, then you should be able to use same lower rad hose, if you don't, then a piece of flex hose works good, same one as vw diesel rabbit pickup without AC dist wires need to be re-routed so they run behind the alt, and use a longer coil wire, to avoid moving coil or lengthening other wires lay the PS pump Assy. in the spare tire area leave the AC off, it's winter the rad fan will fit fine, unless the block heater is in the way make sure the clutch will fit
  4. engine driven fan ONLY came on AC equipped ea82 I would leave it off until you have issues with it running warm that the electric cooling fan can't handle, which I have rarely discovered, such as high rpm, high load, low speed long duration making donuts in snow after a while I got dizzy and had to quit :-\ I found a front mount small fan I think was from a KIA, fits behind grill when air conditioner condenser is removed, can send pic if you like

  9. clutch test: direct drive gear @ approx. 25 mph FLOOR IT!! assuming engine has enough power slip = bad 'tis even funner pulling trailer with ea71 powered gen 2 wagon with leaky rear main seal that lubricated clutch, careful throttle application required
  10. 'tis just Wat it says it is '86 gl-10 t-wag ea81 transplanted ea81 engine, with ea82 carb and intake, swapped injection pump for carb pump, removed fuel sending unit and ran new hose for suction under the carpet, even made a plate from aluminum sheet, drilled a hole in the center, added grommet to run fuel pickup through, because fuel tank bottom is covered in sludge, and standard pickup is plugged, fuel pump controlled by standard system, no re-wiring required more details available upon request
