  2. adjust valves weber electronic dist. and alt. NGK bpr6ey-11 ea81 not worth the trouble, not a direct swap, only 4 hp difference in stock form ea71 is a happy engine when tuned properly
  3. does your fan switch have one or two wires??? if it has one wire, is the radiator grounded, if not, it won't work if it has two wires, make sure the radiator is grounded one wire system: short wire to ground and fan should turn on two wire system: connect both terminals and fan should turn on iirc yellow and blue wires all below is just a guess, but a good one: Pressure switch ( main Fan Control) is for the AC system Sub Fan Control Relay also with AC Sub Fan relay is the critter to look at

  8. with turn singal connector disconnected and pin # 10 connected, the fuse blows also noticed when flashers are on the right side is dimmer than the left One problem that is consistent is the 4wd selector switch does nothing, but it did work the one time the signals worked when the headlight relay was removed back-up light does work

I am only trying to post info that will make solving the issue easier, it is also getting on my nerves decided to disconnect EVERY connecter until the issue goes away after disconnecting 5 relays, and many connecters, finally one made a difference listed in manual as F65 white, 21 pin, connecting to i6 of instrument panel wiring harness, 7 across and 3 down behind fuse box and on same bracket as the connectors F66 and F67 page 9 section 6-3 fig. 10 front wiring harness MPFI model the offending wire is in position #10, has single green wire, no stripes car built 2/87 using book printed july '87
  13. hardest leak to find list: heater hoses, abraided by clutch lever, impossible to see rubbing little booger manifold hoses waterpump hoses rad drain cock and sensors rad cap rad "header" leaks leaks between hose and pipe

  15. Mystic 15W50 cleans the engine very well, when I opened it up to swap heads, looked like someone polished everything inside, no usual yellow and brown crud
  16. MilesFox has done several how-to's disconnect from trans stubs before removing from wheel end
  17. my self-oiler broke and swapped in a self-ruster side panels behind rear wheels tend to rot away easily nice car with almost no rust, and want to keep it that way may try spraying diesel, had a vw pickup with leaky fuel tank seal, no rust back there

  19. what brand of plugs did you use?? sometimes they just go bad could be deposit buildup, possibly from fuel additive
  20. AS IF Southridge mall has much going on Saturday day after black friday with bad economy there's plenty of space down in that area if you want downtown, IIRC 517 Scott british motors may have some space, just an idea, it's just south of the tracks
  21. I'm guessing Southridge Mall area convenient, fairly large parking lots with empty stores my vehicles not in attendance: '85 wagon - black '84 brat - red '79 wagon - ski so that leaves the '87 wagon gl-10 with ea81 - brown I also have a high topper for brat available and many parts
