gen2 body style wagon 4spd s/r 4wd top starter ea71 with serial # 30xxx built 11/79 looking for clutch that has more holding power to better withstand the loads of pulling a trailer, driving in mud, and going uphill without slipping the clutch the clutch in currently acts somewhat like a snowmobile clutch... when 2, 3, or 4, apply throttle, rpm shoots up, then mph will increase while going uphill or not being careful with throttle what are my options??? ceramic??

they probably won't do much if they look like swiss cheese I still haven't mounted the old style stop sign, probably due to it being a collector's item antique

perhaps you can use a shim adjusting system such as on the VW 4cyl engines, 1.5 1.6 diesel 1.9 gas they use a true overhead cam sytstem, no rocker levers edit: 2k post

seems to me that all you would have had to do is: loop over the heater hose, refill rad, and replace the t-belts on the side of the road, after all, it's a subaru and be sure to have a set of coveralls just in case I advise you to reuse the intake, carb, and air box from the ea82 -
it is a little more interesting when the "weak point" is the slipping clutch after that, it is the hills, especially with ea71 BTW: what is the towing capacity of a gen 2 4wd s/r ea71 wagon?

water choke can be problematic electric is either off or on manual with a locking cable, when set correctly will act as a throttle to increase engine speed, and after pulled more, will engage the choke especially useful for when stopped,, and need to hold rpm above idle, just pull it out and it stays morning warmup: it idles fine until slightly warmed up where it decides to idle around 500 pull the cable, and set it for 2k, all is good
