Coil Need a Resistor?
I suggest you try a bosch coil off a saab! the '79-'80 model coil provides a voltage roughly 30% higher than conventional coils the 82+ model coil provides 15% more voltage than the coils from eariler models looks like no resistor needed

85% ethanol test
NO NO NO, Numbchux, YOU are wrong!!!!! there is no such thing as Iowa's 'premium' that contains much more than 10% ethanol Casey's, Git N Go, and others have ethanol blended 91+ octane premium other retailers have NO ethanol 91+ octane premium I pay attention to that kind of stuff because the dirt bike requires premium without ethanol low grrade 87 regular 89 super 91 have only seen 89 with 10%E

neep some advice now
rig up a super powerful air horn to scare the SSH1T of the datsun driver just as the signal is given to go hope for poor traction course where 4wd will be required to get a good start adjust the valves to spec. the engine should be able to bury the tachometer and sound real smooth at that speed "i need some tips or advice to how i can mod my engine a little bit more better to make it run faster." regular gas will be fine, set base timing to spec, hook vac. adv. directly to intake manifold

I have some spares, both Hitachi and ND, which version do you want? look at the guts what do you see under the rotor?? ND: 2 black "dust proof covers" marked "do not remove" Hitachi 4-point reluctor how many wires connected to the pick up coil and control unit? 2,3,4,more? how's the vac. advance unit? both advance and retard? advance only? is the end crimped? what is the shape of the advance rod?
