  1. you may be better off putting in a ea71 turbo engine
  2. 80k engine 180k everything else '89 rx
  3. 25+ psi on regular gas, just remove waste gate line no fuel cut experienced no idea how long it will last that way
  4. what makes a fat case ea71 a fat case ea71? and is there an easy way to distinguish one from a regular ea71???
  5. but there is still the issue of top starter vs. side starter and the ea82 series 5spd d/r would work, including the '85 models, different gear ratios a decent LOW is all I want

  11. blame the gauge! isn't it supposed to be inches of mercury :cool: stock turbo system with wastegate line removed will easily do 25+ psi on regular gas

  17. you can also bend down the locking tabs I have one with the return oil line that is so tight it takes a wrench to turn
  18. ah, that ain't nuthin ever look at a vw rabbit with rusty strut towers, or holes in similar area you can fit your fist? and they still get repaired and the seat rails always rust out

  21. located in front of master cylinder blue, round, hose connected to front removed the 2 nuts, split case, separated filter with lid from housing just looking for the element
  22. how about speed signal from W terminal on alternator? would like to have water, oil, air intake, fuel, exhaust temp, oil, air intake, fuel pressure, engine rpm, lambda, voltage, with units selectable for c/f and bar/psi it's a diesel
