BTFT: disconnected the wire for the brake fluid level sensor
-
wesley willis " as does my hatch. it's quite useless, unless you want your rear window wiped, of course. " what else would it do, slice cheese? "nope, the only Soobies with rear wipers were most of the wagons (all EA82 wagons) and the EA82 coupes" didn't the dl skip this option? 4-door sedan has rear wiper, '85 fsm book 2, section 6-2 p. 49-50 adjustment, etc :-p

do the "wd40 test" spray some wd40 onto a white paper towel, high quality like "rags in a box" then rub the paint and see if it shines up works like a charm!

this time with INDUSTRIAL ENAMEL the rust keeps spreading, stripes were rust-oleum, paint looks kinda crappy, cracking will probably keep the color scheme with gloss white body, aluminum for the gray bits, and MF red for the stripes, and a gloss black hood current paint http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=44427 paint supplier http://vansicklepaint.com/mntvsinden.html about $20 a gallon at the farm store any idea how much paint would be needed? coverage is approximately 400-450 sq. ft. per gallon
-
looks like someone overdid it with the black I say it needs some stripes and lettering as I am looking at the VanSickle color palate for industrial enamel

Historic Subaru Forum (3 Viewing) Any topic discussing Subaru models older than 1979 (1981 for Brat), or vehicle restoration techiques for any model or year Subaru. Older Generation of Subarus (16 Viewing) If your Subaru was built after 1980 but before 1990 or is a Loyale, Justy, XT or XT6 please post here. since the build is 11/79 doesn't it belong in old gen? it's an ea71 maybe there should be a category of TRANSITIONAL eras :-p
